Lol, they will put all the same stuff on there they put on the cummins trucks...it will just be better hahahahah.

Lol Yeah Full Carli Pintop systems with every option on everything. I do like a lot of the stuff CJC does So hopefully they do some cool PW specific things.

They do seem to put Carli in most if not all the truck videos I have seen from them. Curious if they go Thuren suspension with the PW.

Yea i would think they would gear this truck more for slower wheeling/crawling than most of the stuff they do, just because it is a power wagon.

I would like to see them clearance for 38’s and gear it down to say 5.13’s or so.

Cant wait to see!

I think they build some awesome customer trucks. Yes they showcase that a lot on their YouTube. I also appreciate how much info they include on those Video. It’s not just a two min “look and see what we did video”. Also I would trade my PW for their green 2500 lol

I was going to say it. They don’t build a truck. They just bolt parts on lol. Rinse and repeat.

i hear that. all there stuff seems cookie cutter to me

Yea, the trucks can get to be a little of the same ol same ol, but they are really nice setups. And they have a wealth of information on the hd platform, and relay it very well through their videos. They seem like a great group of guys.

Super curious if they do a thuren setup instead. They always seem to go carli. Bet they go carli though LOL

But do they perform well (the trucks they’re building)?

I know you shortened your frame and added a step-side style bed but that’s not most people taste. From what I’ve seen, yes, they rinse and repeat a lot of what they do (even across platforms the builds seem similar whether it’s an f250 or a Ram 2500) but it does seem to make a pretty nice overall riding truck for most peoples on road and off road needs.

I’m sure if they wanted to cut a truck up they could but since they need to appeal to as many people as possible they stick with “builds” more people would want.

Yep. CJC laughing all way to bank doing those cookie cutter “builds”. I don’t blame them. If that’s what people want and their money is green I would bolt on Carli kits all day long.

I think you kind of got me out of context. I just don’t see a “build” as throwing money and adding boltons. But that’s just me. And hell yes the trucks perform. Thuren and Carli both have the suspension systems down.

Of course it would be taken out of context, they are a shop that does builds with mostly bolt on parts. Not a custom fab shop. Truly custom rigs are cool, but out of reach for most.

I think that they do come up with some nice truck’s, so far as building any Power Wagon our work is pretty much done for us. We can do some lift’s, minor suspension mods, larger tires, different wheels, exhaust etc.... but how many of us have the kind of money to truly build a truck to it’s functional limit’s.Who takes out the diff’s and throw’s in Dana 60’s or 70’s., hydraulic steering, long travel suspension, full cages, etc....It’s nice to have the money to do all of that but out of the Box a Power Wagon is the only truck of it’s kind and that’s why we bought it.

Looking forward to see how they build up their new PW. It'll take some guess work out of the equation for a lot of owners. I'd think they'll go w/ Carli as they've both in So Cal and very close drive away for each other. I'd like to see a Thuren build though as I really haven't seen a showcase build of what he does.

Their thread on IG regarding the Power Wagon has a lot of people calling for a Thuren set up. Of course most of those people are Power Wagon owners too by the looks of it. I think it would be smart to appeal to the masses when it comes to this build. But I guess only time will tell which one they go with. If it's the same old rinse and repeat with the Power Wagon a lot of people I think will be disappointed. Their truck to do with as they wish though.

I think they make too much off Carli to go any other route.
