well, that's why! the text is white and won't show up on a white BG. If you are battery conscious, the dark background takes less battery, or so I've read.

Not necessarily, I see everyone else's sig no matter what the background is, it automatically toggles the text color. Only yours disappears

or...... consider that people use grey as a default color. I changed it to grey. I bet it works now

Just came in...but of course this is the day my wife decides to hijack my truck and take it to work. Guess I’ll have to install it tomorrow. ‍smh

Thinking about what to do next. I was gonna get it leveled or lifted but it’s my daily driver and I don’t see any reason to do that. No off-roading for me.

Reluctantly installed husky liner mud flaps... man I hate these things. Prob rock them in winter and not in summer. This time I used weather stripping in between the flaps and body to prevent the paint rubbing I had last time.

Here’s some ugly pics. Man, they’re UGLY [emoji30]a97d8ae5a68dcd5cf16af08bd5f59b47.jpg

Added Rough Country N3 front coil struts with 2" leveling kit. Then added the rear N3 0-3" rear shocks. It still had a squat when towing a 3500lb enclosed trailer. So I added the Airlifter 60818HD coil air bags. Pump up to 35psi and lost the rear end sag and tows better. 83603038394407c62dabdbca5ac95f52.jpg3280fed2245f6f22d744943879da7bf6.jpg3d42c4e25e8088eadf6c59785e9cf14a.jpg383f35e3e2b52b914a7c6fc9560da9cd.jpgb259d174e5fe1127fa44b11e55e1fa28.jpgd38dcf9a6e40f17c9f052caa584a8ffd.jpg4e75d262330a5a2e68ea233e01a7aa7a.jpg

I thought about the RC Kit. Just didn’t know how it would work with my big ole’ bumper. I still have about .5” of rake after swapping to the Eibach setup. Better than being ass down I guess!

I LOVE the way you worked out the air lines into the fuel filler. Will likely do that with mine if I have to do that down the road.

I added PowerStop Z36 brake kit. Cross drilled/slotted rotors and carbon ceramic pads. 4340f077a76d47c2be7904affedcc9db.jpg2212a7616dda4edc2277229ff0ef4912.jpg

Hands down one of the best mods I’ve done. Stops like it should have from the factory.

So when you gonna make a thread about this upgrade???

I’ve been wondering the same thing...

Im almost done. I just cut the other opening yesterday just gotta get some touch up paint for the exposed metal and then im going to seal them with 5200. Hopefully this weekend i can get on truck and show the final project. Ill say this if you have the standard hood but trying to save up for the sport or aftermarket this is the way to go after all said and done i may have $80 in it. Of course the time in it as well but really its not that bad. Thinking about trying the center hood bezel from the 5th gens as well but im not sure if that'll fit.

Can’t wait to get all the details. I might do it myself!

Had fate decide that I'm ordering tires today. 80mph blow out at 5:45 is better at waking you up than any cup of coffee, let me tell ya. View attachment 225189

I picked it up from the dealer after they had it for a week and a half. It needed spring isolators, strut mounts, and struts. Supposedly they were having a back and forth with the warranty company. I knew Axiom wouldn't cover it but thought the CPO warranty would. CPO wouldn't pay for it unless struts were leaking. So, struts were reported as "leaking" and finally got the work done. Man, have I missed the Ram. I'm just glad to have it back.

Idk, honestly I've been working and driving so much I'm torn between 285 75s and 295 70s. I want it to still fill out the wheel wells but would like a true 33 instead of the bigger 315s.

I'm not really set on anything, as of now I'm really torn between 2 super mild tires. 295 70s. Michelin ltx m/s or hankook at2s. I need road manners and winter performance, and may even tow my jeep to the trails if I get time, so I think dropping size is a good move. Plus I'm GDE tuned for stock 20" tire so I think the truck will be a bit happier all around.

^^^ The law came down on you ?

No. You can drive here with 3 feet of tire sticking out lol. Lots of guys running -75 offset wheels usually in the 24x14 foot print with paper thin tires. As far as I know we don’t have laws for it. I just got tired of fixing paint chips on my pinch weld

I must admit, the lifted ones do look badass. I’ll probably wait for later to put a kit on it. Doing all my DIY mods first. Well, at least things that are DIY for me. Not experienced with struts and suspension type work. Looking for some new tail lights now.
