Sometimes after it rains, not all of the time, I get a stream of water coming out of the bolt inset on the drivers A Pillar. Anyone else had this? Windshield seal bad? It’s a 2018 Express. Thanks

That’s on my to-do list..... was curious if anyone else has had this.Remove the hand grip and A-pillar trim, and see where the water is entering

I have checked the weatherstripping and all seems tight. No sun roof. That’s why I was leaning towards the windshield leaking. Thanks.....I haven’t - but perhaps also check the body-mounted door weatherstrip to see if it is seated tightly, and is not damaged?
You did not mention - but do you have a sunroof? If so, I would suspect the drain, which run down the A-pilller. The drain tubes are known to dislodge at the sunroof drain nipple.

And no stains on headliner or water on floor? Odd thing, mine stopped, seems to act up in spring and go away in winter.Update: the third brake light showed signs of water leakage after the headliner was dropped. New seal was installed and no water so far after a days worth of heavy rain.
Oddly enough, I have never seen any stains or “wet spots” on my headliner. And no stains on headliner or water on floor? Odd thing, mine stopped, seems to act up in spring and go away in winter.
I would think you still have warranty on your RAM ? Let the dealer fix it at no charge ! Please update what you do find ThanksOddly enough, I have never seen any stains or “wet spots” on my headliner.
UPDATE: the leak has returned. It has happened on both Driver & Pass A Pillar. The amount of water has been greatly decreased by replacing the 3rd brake light. The amount is barely a trickle coming from the A Pillar hand hold bolt caps. I honestly have to believe that there is something wrong with either the windshield seal or another seal on the Drivers side.
That’s the problem......all of these “so called fixes” have been performed at the dealership. It’s going back for the third time next week. I’ll continue to do this until they fix it or Chrysler buys it back from me!!I would think you still have warranty on your RAM ? Let the dealer fix it at no charge !
