That probably works better than sticking the seafoam hose into the air nozzle I have but it works. Honestly I think getting the hose into the drain cleared whatever was there, I had no dirt come out the drains on the outside. I had two of the 8 drain holes clogged with some lube. There are 4 sets of two drain holes. Pics to follow. That cover I was pointing to is the lead to the defroster on the sliding window. The cover trim I pointed to is double sided taped on and you never to be pretty careful removing it. You cannot get a good look at the driver side with it on. Maybe you don't have the defroster and thats why you didn't mention it.

Thats the difference, I don't have the rear defroster...

Passenger side middle.

So after all of that, I think the seal on the bottom of the sliding window is to blame. My leak would trickle in near the middle seat seatbelt. Figured drains were clogged. It's bad under full pressure, they might keep up under regular rain but since I saw the leak, I want it fixed.

With the cables off the window I was sliding it by hand and realized some of the double sided tape holding it gave out. Going to buy some now and see if it fixes the leak issue. Hope these pics help someone.

Also the driver side is a pain with the defroster, I would try the passenger side first and other possible leak areas. My seats are out and so is a lot of the trim so it wasn't terrible but I wouldn't do it again.

Awesome thanks, going to blow them out tomorrow.

The seafoam straw works just as well if not better because its flexible and you can literally stick the straw down into the drain hole. The metal adapters I posted just go into the track and hopefully blow the crap out of the drain holes. I'd honestly keep using that...

Also the rear window seal is more like a door window seal, its not meant to be 100% sealed. But in FCAs infinite wisdom, they used double sided tape to affix it to the frame. I mean really?

Also I ended up putting a dab of RTV at the bottom corners of the seal as there was a pretty large gap there. I'll get some pics tomorrow when its light out....

I used some trimmer line and stuck it in the hole and was able to fish it out the weather stripping on the outside of the truck.

So my drain holes all work but still have leaks. My truck leans towards the drivers side on my driveway. Water will get past that window seal and rush to the drivers side and overflow.

The seal didn't restick well. Going to try a glass guy on Monday to see what he says if not ill order that replacement kit you linked on page 1.

If you could tomorrow, spray some water on you window and see if it ends up in that track. I think my seal was just ready to go and the drains can't keep up. They're buried in there otherwise I would make them bigger.

I actually put the seal back on and then packing tape over the glass and seal. Still had a bunch of water get it. Makes me wonder how much got in during car washes. If yours does better at keeping water out then I'll know something is up with that window.

Ok will do[emoji106]

You could also try weatherstrip adhesive for where the double sided tape is...

My sliding rear window barely works, so, that’s a + right?

Anyways, good thread. Thank you.

You know that may just work! I have some left over from the brake light, I'll try it tomorrow.

It doesn’t like to close after it’s open, and usually takes me and my dad forcing it to close to close lol, someone pushes it from behind and then it closes. It’s not really sluggish when opening, so i don’t know what’s wrong with it.

Mine did that 2 years ago, I used some lube and it started working fine every since. I think my issue was in cold weather and makes me wonder if there was some ice build up in the drains. The window just has a cable on each side to open and close. Maybe look into the track and make sure it's clean.

Do you have any pics of how you did it? I know there's not much to it but if it worked for you, might as well copy what you did.

What lube did you use? I was thinking of using the dry lube spray I use for my camper windows on it...

No Pics. But I've used it on many things. Including racecar intake manifolds [emoji48]

I think it was pb blaster dry lube. I used to have to start shutting it by hand and then it would move. I will be lubing it again right before it all goes back together so I don't clog a drain.

I found this video back then.

It's been a long day... Didn't see the word adhesive, thought you guys used some weather stripping to replace the seal which is why I was asking for pics. I'll give the adhesive a try tomorrow. Thanks guys.
