I've been running the Pirelli Scorpion and really like them. They have a good look (not plain/not aggressive) and - for me - perform very well. I'm switching to the Nitto Ridge Grappler with the lift in a week or so, but would buy the Pirelli's again if I wasn't going with the bigger tires. But, like others have said - it's really about what you want to do with the tire and how you how you want it to look on the truck as well. Good luck with your quest and hope you are happy with the one you chose to purchase.

I went from the stock tire to Goodyear Duratracs in the stock size. They worked pretty good in the snow and looked great. However, my mpgs dropped from 21-22 on the highway at 70mph to 16-17mpg. You could also feel the truck shake at slow speeds of 1-2mph (easing forward at a stoplight). I usually get 60-80k miles out of a set of tires as I don't push them hard. The stock tires only went 45k miles. I got 55k miles out of the Duratracs but they got very noisy this summer and would not have gotten through the deep snow this winter.

I just put on Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws and am really happy so far. The mpgs are close to 20mpg again, no bumpy ride at slow speed, and they worked well in our first 6" snowfall of the season.
