Correct. The factory fog harness has the 9006 connectors and the aftermarket pods have the DT ones.

You could yes but I don't know if the factory wiring / setup will support 4 LEDs. Maybe it will once you set the fogs to led with alphaobd as that should disable the factory pwm crap to the fogs.

I would check the wattage of the led pods before doing 4. A 9006 bulb is 55 watts. The led pods I have installed come in 2 wattages. The ones I’m running are 35 watts. The other style are 14.5 watts.

Went a little towards the dark side and traded in the wife 2014 Durango SXT for a 2017 Ford Explorer XLT Damn and to think i had started to learn to tune the ZF8 trans with the D couple of days ago. Oh well...

Not a lot of new stuff that i've added to the truck since the winch. I did re-spool the winch line last week, and ordered more items for my recovery bag i didn't have this time around: Winch blanket, couple of soft shackles, winch line protector etc, as well as new air compressor (Viaair 88P) that will replace my 10 years old Tsunami MF-1050 air compressor. I'll carry both just in case. The Tsunami still works despite a melted fuse that i've never ever replaced. I'm honestly surprised how this thing have survived this long so i'm keeping in the truck juist cause the little thing refuse to die

Took the chance to do a new round of measurements and height test, combined with stock height measurements
Stock:
Cooper AT3 4S 275/60/20, 33"
Front height: 33 1/8"
Rear height: 39 1/4"

Current mods as of 10/15/2020

Front Mods weight: 158lbs
Center mods weight: 160lbs
Rear mods weight: 489lbs

Tires: Patagonia MT 315/70/17, 34.7"
Tire height difference: 34.7"-33" = 1.7"/2 = 0.85" at the axel



Front measurements:
Coilovers: King 2.5 Piggybacks 500lbs 14" springs, 14 threads driver, 13 threads passenger
Ground to fender: 39 3/4"
Hub to fender: 23 3/8
Hub to fender at max droop: 26 5/8
Total droop travel: 3 1/4", highly refreshing as i always measured 2.75" when measuring the edge of the tire at ground height and max droop
Coilover Preload above adjusters: 1 3/8 driver, 1 1/4" passenger
Top hat to Coilover: Driver: 20 3/4" , Passenger: 20 3/4

Rear:
Clayton 2.5" rear springs
Hub to fender: 24 3/4"
Ground to fender: 41 1/2"

current front gain with respect to stock : 36.125" -- 38.9" = Total: 2.77" lift
current rear gain with respect to stock: 39.25" -- 40.65" = Total: 1.4" lift

This accounts for extra weight from mods, and excludes the 0.85" extra height from the 315 tires so i can compare apples to apples as if i had 33" tires.

Also wanted so compare CV angles for chit and giggles since i'm not using spacers.
I've documented the different heights i've had throught the mods i've done:
For instance the Rancho QL that most say don't lift not even 2" ended up giving me the advertised 2.25' after they settled, 2.5" after the install

CV Angles lifting the front .875" (lifted the front in full with jack and then i just left the CO's settle down without moving, then measured both sides. So literally this is how i'd guess the CV's will look if i turned my CO's to their max for a 3.5-3.6" lift

In conversations with Accutune one more time. I was able to find the compressed specs of my new shocks with the help of Accutune and they're not what i wanted. My current shocks are 28.75" extended but 19.75" compressed. I wanted 18" compressed. Accutune opened up a case with King to find out what happened when they made them and if possible a solution at no cost for me.

Based on the conversation they had with King they said best they can do is 28.4" extended, 19" compressed mainly because something to do with the shocks bodies they use for the RAM speced piggybacks which i purposedly wanted as a plug and play application. so I sent an email with the confirmation to Accutune that i agree with the new specs.

it seems i'll have to take the shocks off the truck and either drop them at Accutune, or i asked them if i could drop them directly to King. (King is 30 min away, Accutune is 60 min away). Hopefully doesn't take another 6 weeks for King to fix my chit

Rear King shocks out, Rancho shocks are in. Droping the Kings off with Accutune tomorrow.

Got my shocks back. I went straight to King to cut back on the time it was going to take to get them shipped home since they're only 30 min away from me. King HQ is damn impressive.

And back to full King now. Took me 10 min to swap them up this morning.
I made a mistake mounting them this time, but because of that mistake i can say i have them setup correctly now . I can't actually believe i've been running them the wrong way for 2 years now. ********. The offset in the bushing keeps them away from the frame.

28.5" extended, 19" compressed, 2" bumpstop extensions needed.
eye to eye @ ride height 23.625", shaft showing @ ride height 4.75" so literally the rear is ridding in the middle of the shock stroke up/down.
