P.S. Your post should be information the OP utilizes in making his decision.

I too researched the hell out of bulbs, brands and decided to go with Underground Lighting because of your post and the fact they are a forum sponsor. Heck, Nick at GotExhaust and my posts about him should clearly tell you how loyal I am to sponsors.

Unfortunately, my experience with Underground Lighting was not near as positive as yours. And the ticket from the county sheriff for a non-functioning headlight was just icing on the cake. This was my first ticket in 29 years and it didn’t set well over something that was not my fault (the fan was clearly not working on the LED that was out).

I’m getting ready to order a set for my daughter-in-laws new 2020 Ram and actually considered giving UL another shot but got as you can imagine am a little shy about installing something in her truck that could be an issue on a dark country road.

You bought Low beam, high beam, fogs and switch back bulbs. You had an issue with a low beam and never reached out for help for what ever reason. If you are really serious in wanting LEDs for your daughter's ram I Will sell you one at cost and cover the shipping. I am here to always help my customers and stand behind my products and company. Let me know and Ill make it happen.

I am serious and after discussion with my daughter-in-law and my son, we’ve just ordered Lasfit from Amazon. Thank you for the offer.

You have your opinion, I have mine based upon the events of May to July 2020.

Did you even bother to read my posts and the problem I had back then?

After that fiasco, I wouldn’t recommend Underground Lighting to ANYONE! As for user error, I followed his verbal instructions to a T with over a dozen phone calls, texts and even IMs on this site. The LED simply failed and I was done with his Mickey Mouse operation - especially after paying twice the price of the LASFIT set I installed after his failed...which has performed flawlessly.

Again, my opinion...and you are certainly entitled to yours.

And I realize we are here to help each other...that is why I gave my opinion to the OP to help him avoid problems.

I did not read your posts back then. However I have read underground lighting try to make it right multiple times and you never gave them a chance. Their bulbs have a 2 year warranty which is longer than most. So if you had a failure which in anything electronic is not uncommon why would you not get your replacement? You seem to be blaming them but never gave them an opportunity to make it right. Nick from got exhaust and Danny from underground lighting have customer service second to none.
You were able to call and get verbal instructions which is above and beyond normal.
Bottom line you had a failure that they would have promptly fixed if given the chance. Most police officers would give a warning for a headlight out but given your attitude I can see why you got a ticket.
As you said you are entitled to your own opinion and I don’t care if you don’t buy bulbs from them anymore. I do care that you go on the forums to bad mouth a company that you did not give an opportunity to make right. I personally would have gone out of my way to walk you through step by step instructions if you sent me a pm asking for clarification as others did. And there are many other members on here that will contest to the help I’ve gone out of my way to help and share some knowledge so we can learn from each other like family.
I’m having still trouble figuring out why you wouldn’t warranty a bulb that’s under warranty and complain about a 30 day return policy which is basically industry standard? If your truck had a recall or warranty issue would you go buy a Kia and bash Ram trucks?

I never saw this question if you have the sealed led headlights, you can not replace parts. you need to buy a new headlight housing from ram.

Because I was done dealing with what I still believe was poor customer service during the purchase and install process - I wasn’t going to waste my time on a supposed warranty process. I can give my opinion anywhere and anytime I want - now go find someone else to cry to about how great you think UL is as I’m not buying the crap you’re peddling.

P.S. Your reading comprehension leaves a lot to be desired. Read my post again or have your five year old read it to you - I clearly stated it was a fix-it ticket.

Clearly I’m not the one crying here. Your bad mouthing a company you didn’t give a chance to make right. That it the definition of customer service because we don’t live in a perfect world.

You’re reiterating that you were unhappy because you did not know how to install a light bulb. (Seriously?)

Oh no, I know how to install them...it was the fact the fool bragged about how he has sold these for years and then sends me the wrong f-ing LED set. Then he sends me the correct LED and asks me to send the wrong LED he sent me back to him - on my dime! One more example of the poor customer service from this incompetent vendor. Why give incompetence a second chance? Help yourself fool...and anyone else foolish enough to listen to your dribble and purchase the junk.

Please don’t make me copy and paste you complaining that you didn’t know how to install your bulbs because they didn’t come with instructions. Now miraculously you knew how to install them the whole time?
You do realize humans make mistakes right? Here is a perfect example @Nick@GotExhaust sent me rubber brake hoses instead of braided like I ordered. When I called him he did the same thing Danny did, figured out how the error happened and sent me the right ones. I mailed the rubber hoses back “ON MY DIME” and nick refunded me the cost of shipping. That is not uncommon practice. You seem to be flip flopping all over the place. Your problem was a product failed under warranty and you didn’t want to notify the vendor to get a new one, but that wasn’t it. It was getting pulled over for a bulb out that may or may not have been installed correctly, then it was the lack of an instruction manual like bulbs only fit one car? Now it’s everyone is a fool and selling snake oil?

I Have sold these leds for years yes. Your truck is a 2020 brand new face lifted model. How could i sell leds for your headlight for years when it just came out? Yes I made a mistake and sent the wrong fog light bulb. I sent out a new one asap. I asked you to send back the old one. If you wanted us to pay for the shipping back it would of been no problem you didn't ask you were cool and said ya ill take care of that. I guess we should of done that. Ill own up to that. You even bought the brightest high beam went with 60W. I called you before shipping and told you you dont need the 60 w save your money 40 w is enough. We refund you the difference right away. We did a lot for you no other company would of.

Well clearly this has all been my fault...my fault for ordering critical safety items such as headlights from a company who utilizes a mailbox in a UPS Store in Royal Palm Beach Florida as their business address.

Lesson learned - I'll be certain to research a vendor and their product more thoroughly from now on...thanks for the lesson!

I'm done wasting time on MY failure to perform better due diligence.

this is a brand new tv from Sony I have many more pictures with all major brand TVs some come damaged like this one some stop working after a few days etc. My point is stuff happens and it’s your responsibility as a consumer to file a warranty claim and or swap out wrong parts for right ones. Not complain about how you were so wronged and play victim.
