Can't unlock the doors after remote start.....

Hi Ram Family, new guy on the block....be gentle!

Just bought my first Ram, 2020 BigHorn Sport Crew Cab Hemi 6.7, and love it. Problem is I did a remote start last night and I couldn't get in the truck. The doors wouldn't unlock using the key fob. I pushed all the buttons with every combination I could think of and eventually they unlocked. Not sure how I did it though.???

The manual says just to hit the Unlock on the fob, but didn't work for mine. Whats up?

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Just hitting unlock should do the trick after its started with the remote. Does it do this every time you remote start it? If so start with the easy stuff, new battery in the fob and then take that 2020 still under warranty to the dealer.

Ya I tried the Unlock button on both fobs I have....neither worked. Very strange. Tells me its programming in the truck not the fobs. Called my salesman and he's looking into it. Thanks for the reply

Common problem. I have a post on here too. My dealer said Chrysler is aware of it and there is no fix right now. What I have discovered is if I use UConnect to start it, the FOB's seem to work. Good Luck

Oh really ok. Guess I've got one of the bad ones unfortunately. I'll look into UConnect. Still learning about the truck. I know that has something to do with the communication/entertainment system. I'll look for the app.

Uconnect works great. 3rd 3500 Ram in a row. I have had a bad go with this truck. 12" nothing but problems. The remote start issue sucks but I have found my work around until they fix it.
