2004 Ram 5.7 hemi Larmie - replaced 5.7 hemi with exact same year & truck engine. All is going well on the install UNTIL THIS issue came up. While all electrical sensor connectors were tagged with labels the negative battery cables were not. Where in the hell do the cable ends bolt to? I mean the location. I'm sure one end goes to the engine and the other end goes to the frame but WHERE. i know there are three leads from the battery terminal. One to the body (yep got that) but the other two - ????

Service manual says G100, G101, and G102 are the three locations. G100 and G101 are left front engine, and G102 is left front chassis.

Sorry, I don't have a picture for you.

Thanks. The left front chassis is a easy one to find - right near the battery. The ones on the engine are a bit harder in this respect - there is one location near the front by the oil dipstick, the other location I can't find plus the cable leads for these locations - one cable is of heavier gage than the other, So which one goes where? I'm thinking the lighter gage goes to the location near the oil dipstick the heavier gage goes to a locaton nearer the stater. We'll see!

I just happen to have an '04 sitting in the garage myself.

The 3 wires go:
One to the fender immediately to the right of the battery.
One to the outside of the driver's frame rail (almost directly straight down)
One to the block right behind the PS pump (See attached picture)

Thanks. That is exactly where I found the locations. The one to the frame had me baffaled until I realized it goes to the outside of the frame! Thanks again
