I'm meeting a saleman on Monday to go over my order. 75A package with some extras. Undecided on color but leaning towards the Granite Crystal Metallic.

It will MSRP out at about 70-71K. What should I be asking for off the MSRP? I've never ordered a vehicle before. Is this something I can settle on before I order?

I'd hate to order it...it comes in and they turn around and say nothing off MSPR or like 2-3%. I'm looking for 10% or so off MSRP.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve not ordered yet, but my deal is set. I’m a little under dealer invoice (about 10.5% off MSRP) less all customer rebates that exist when the truck lands at the dealer. And zero dealer fees that they always like to throw on at the last minute.

Looks like I’ll be ordering a white 75th on Monday rather than wait a month or two for Anvil.

In the US you should be around $8-9k off. Don’t know how Canada plays.

In my experience there are two kinds of dealers: 1) high volume dealers that sell for invoice and make money on manufacturer incentives, financings, repairs, and used and 2) old school dealers that try to maximize transaction value on what has turned into a commodity market. With the internet you can quickly sort out the difference. Understand that you may need to travel 500+ miles to get your deal. But if it’s the difference between $2k off local or $8k off 500 miles away it’s an easy decision, plus you get a nice road trip.

Thanks for the info all!

One last question: Extended warranty. I know that they are negotiable and that dealers can make quite a bit on them. I'm debating on just passing on the warranty at the time of purchase but buying one later.

Thoughts? I know you can get the factory warranty's online.

That's a good question..I'd like to know about this as well? I may actually keep this truck. I would think a guy would want a factory extended warranty? I've never bought one but considering it...good move on the anvil...the anvil and go mango may never open up again...they can say in two months but that's purely speculation....they can do what they want...white and black looks great!! And you saved 459$ lol...towards a warranty??

MOPAR warranty through Zeigler was the best I could find. Factory parts and backed by FCA. Dealers will try to sell that their warranty covers 15,000 items vs 12,000 items (or whatever) from MOPAR. Don't buy it. User code 'PAYINFULL' to save more.

Well she's ordered! $67,500 out the door which includes T/T/L. MSPR was $72,500. Everything except the dual alternators and Rambox.

Color was the biggest holdup the last few days. I could not decide between the Patriot Blue or the Granite Crystal Metallic. Ended up going with the Granite color.

The GM and sales person were great. Overall looks like about 11.7% off MSRP then added in T/T/L. They came up to where I wanted my Rebel at for trade in too.

Can't wait!!!! Whats the build times? 2-2.5 months? I'm going to guess about early to mid April.

Way to go! Congrats, looking forward to seeing it.

I’m at 2.5 months wait time now, and is scheduled to be built this week. My 4500 I also ordered, has a VIN and is scheduled as well.

Ordered 9/23/20. Delivered 1/16/21. So just under 4 months.

Forecast lead time is currently 12-14 weeks and with no sub-component delays.

Has anyone used the film protection products before? Was thinking I might do it on the powder coated areas of truck. 3M is the one I’m looking at. He’s also going to clear wrap my Thuren tuned king 2.5’s.

It’s not the cheapest thing to do, but I’ve spoken to a number of people that absolutely swear doing it. Has a 5 year zero hassle warranty.

I’m an XPEL fan over 3M, and yes, I wrapped the front of my 1500 Limited and regret not doing a full side wrap. I plan on doing this to the PW when I finally get it ordered and delivered. Taking forever due to color availability.

I get into a lot of brush. How does that stuff hold up against sage, pine branches, etc? And how much would a clear wrap like that from the windows down cost?

I’m not sure. It’s on my list of todos to get a price on a side wrap. Both 3M and XPEL both self heal for the smaller scratches. The larger scratches will stay, but the benefit is that you can pull it off in a few years and have a near perfect paint job. Makes it easier to sell. One vender said that for off roading, you would replace it every 5 years if you don’t like the scratches in the bra. Otherwise it’ll last 10 years with no yellowing. This is just stuff I’ve learned. Someone with real life experience with a side wrap would know better.

Nice. Yeah if I could do it for $1k or so it would probably be worth it. Otherwise I could get a couple of paint corrections done for the same $$. At the end of the day, it was bought to be a trail rig.

How can you 3m wrap the powder coated areas? won't it look like crap? I'm not knocking it. I'd love that protection. I was kind of lucky to hit a deer this year and I got my bumper replaced. it had a bunch of chip marks on it.

its completely transparent. Depending on quality and brand it’s totally naked to the eye.

To do the whole truck is 6000$ for the top of line 10 year, 4000$ for the 5 year.

I was then like ahhhhh, how much for just the front, rocker panels on side, bumper and rear tailgate.

Price was 2500$ for 10 year. 1500$ for 5 year.

it requires a check in each year to maintain the warranty.

http://www.cs2usa.com/ This is the 10 year high end product. The 5 year is 3M.
