Just wanted to let you know of another solution for auto start. I purchased the auto start and smart phone control from 12 volt solutions. The install took under 10 min and their tech got on with me and finished second stage programming so the whole process was 30 min. Best part, no cutting, all plug and play.
The unit been flawless and its great to have the ability to unlock/lock and start/stop the truck from my phone as well as the key fob. With the phone control module you can use it from anywhere in the US and unlock or lock from your phone.
I got this over the factory because of the phone app. My family and I camp alot and it nice not to have to worry about carrying your keys to get into the truck.
