2019 ram 1500 classic. I had some big plastic containers in the bed and I could see the third brake light shinning on them while I was driving. I noticed that times the brake light dim when applied while driving. Thought maybe it was headlights behind me or something that made it look that. When I got to work I tested it while parked. The brake light stayed bright until I turned the wheel while brakes applied. Then it would dim as I turned the wheel back and forth. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Electronic power steering putting a load on the system? Bad Alternator and/or battery maybe?

what he said about the battery/alternator^^^
Use a good voltmeter to check the voltage at the battery and also the battery connection(s) on the fuse boxes while turning the steering wheel. Give all the connections a once over for tightness.

Little update on this. I checked connections under the hood. Everything was tight. Had the wife sit in the truck and apply the brakes and turn the wheel and then also had her stand behind the truck while I did it. We didn't notice any dimming. I don't know. May just be something to do with the auto dim on the rear view? Anyway I guess I'll leave it alone. Thanks for the advice though.

If the temperature was warmer than when you noticed it it may have effected performance. I'd have the battery checked just in case. They have a tendency of not cranking at the worst times in the winter.
