I'd like to blow up a UAS radio that i purchased from a dealership within the last year. It is over heating, but they will not warranty it on only overheating, "it needs to be faulty to be replaced" according to them. I'm in a remote location and there's no other dealership within driving range.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can do this?

A "loose ground" usually plays havoc on solid state electronics. And sometimes, some arc'n and spark'n

hook it up to a 24V power supply and see what happens....I do not see how overheating is not a fault. wha is your driving range? Where I live anything within several hundred miles is considered driving range.

If you get Ram cares involved they have helped others get the radio replaced under warranty. I would consider editing your last before involving them though.

Can any of you tell me what pins on the back of the radio are + / - power?
I can but you should really try ram cares first. It's a known issue and I've seen them get other's squared away. Especially if the screen is delaminating (wink wink)...

I would think over heating would be a warranty issue enough in itself. It could be worse though. You could overheat like these new Fords and burn it to the ground. Fords. Enough said.

ditto. Should be a safety recall if nothing else. Think of burning your finger on the touch screen way worse than a paper cut....
