For some reason, all of my personal vehicles have always been named Old Betsy.

Old Betsy isn't a vehicle, it is the essence that lives in the vehicle that I happen to own at that time

And I don't remember Old Betsy EVER stranding me anywhere - there have a been a couple of times over the years where she might groan and not feel well, but she always tries to get me close to or to my destination.

Never did the name thing... then I went and bought a 2017 Dodge Gran Caravan GT... everyone that knew me was very confused. Why would the "car guy" that drove a 300 Hemi go and get of all things.. a mini van... The best way I could describe it to them was this.. It drives super nice and comfortable. Has all the luxury stuff I would want. Can haul the whole family plus, can haul a ton of cargo, or can haul plenty of people and cargo. The only downside... well it just looks meh.. It's a van.. Kinda like sweatpants.. And that is how it happened...
The van got a name.. Sweatpants..

That van was also part of a bigger plan. My wife really wanted it for the long term and that gave me the bandwidth to trade her Nissan in when it was time on something I wanted and she got to inherit the van. That is when I got my truck that I wanted all along..
So, to stick with the new theme, the truck got a name... Cargo Pants..

The trend stuck so well that my oldest daughter decided that she should name her first car too, a Kia Soul.. it's name? Booty Shorts... LOL... Wife DOES NOT like that name.. Knowing my daughters twisted sense of humor... I think it's hilarious.

Oh.. and the 85 Dodge 600ES Turbo Convertible stashed in the garage is... yea you guessed it... Cut Offs.

starting to fade ten years in. I might linex it at some point, the grill is linex'd.

I got my dog to learn "jeep". When i got the ram i made it easier on her and named it "truck".

If i would name it ......i think it would be......”gonna-send-it”

Kids came up with Sam the Ram...it stuck.

After lots of thought I came up with " Ram"
I'm not a vehicle namer. That said we did give the wife's new Rav 4 a name. After seeing it on TFLTrucks named their older Toyota Taco "Baby Yota" (Yota isn't a misspell) After telling her it was a done deal.

That's good because if my truck came when I called it I would have to name my **** too.

My son Tony named my 2500 "Big Beast Ram".

I also sometimes refer to her as my Big White *****......LOL
