Been a Mopar guy my whole life. Had a 73 Fury with the 440, retired cop car when I was 17. 74 Power Wagon, 79 and 83 Ram Chargers, 92 Grand Caravan, 90 Dakota long bed, 98 Ram 1500 xtra cab( my first new vehicle), 2002 Durango, 12 Power wagon, 19 Challenger scat pack, wide body and now this 18 1500. Only weird issues I had were with the 2 Power Wagons. Both developed death wobble. All were 4x4 except the Challenger and Caravan, Other than that loved all the dodge/ Ram vehicles I had. When I’m done with this 1500 I’ll get another Ram something I’m sure.

Or, their buyers are often cult-like and are very satisfied with their decision irrespective of the vehicle itself. Buying a Tesla is buying a narrative, not just a vehicle, much like Harley-Davidson was in their prime.

For a all electric vehicle, their directionals never work.

A bit surprised Subaru isn't number 1. People that own them love them and never look at other brands when they buy new.

That is true with all of the Subaru people that I know too.

Same of the Subaru people I know. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee before my ram & that was a good vehicle and that had a lot to do with me buying my Ram.

Not once have I ever bought anything "I" didn't think was the best. Other's opinions never influenced me. No poles meant anything to me. You can always find a survey you want to agree with you. Never cared what the fad was or what my friends bought. It's always been what I like. Mopar forever!

We owned a Subaru. A WRX. Fun car, especially here on our twisty Ozark Mt roads. It was not the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned, though. Not even close really. It was 100% stock.

i worked with a guy that had a tesla and he got rid of it lol!!! I have a Porsche and they do take care of any problems that are manufacturing defects- i have 2 one is a 5000.00 transfer case that they have replaced once and now it's under warranty for another 10 years. Porsche puts the screws to you on maintenance cost- 500.00 oil changes, 800.00 for new batteries etc... also the vehicle is a total PINTA to work on!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

wifey bought a 2004 jeep Cherokee limited, drove it for 12 years and close to 240000 miles. After a 150000 miles, we replaced the ps unit, alternator, rear axle deal and a sensor pack in the the trans. Can't beat the Quadra drive system. Best vehicle we have ever owned. Had the 4.7 engine btw.

I know of a few people who are very disappointed with the Subaru's they bought 4 to 5 years ago.

I have had 4 subarus 2 new and 2 used that I bought from friends for my kids. The used ones were well maintained with all records plus the owners were friends that are extremely meticulous. 3 of them needed new head gaskets which is a given on the boxers for some reason. the two new ones were a 2000 outback and a 2016 outback. We traded the 2000 outback before it got out of warranty because it had so many little things go wrong including headgaskets, it was however a great winter car. The 2016 was the top of the line outback and we kept that exactly 6 months and got rid of it. It was my wife's car and it was so noisy going down the highway she said she was going to suffer hearing loss. We had it back to the dealership several times and they could not fix the noise even tho there were TSB out for various noises, including roof rack, doors and outside door mirrors among other things. It howled going down the road and sounded like you were next to a semi with its tarp flapping. We bought it in the winter and roads were frozen and rutted so we never noticed the noise. Our first road trip on clear roads we were like WTF.

I believe Honda also now uses the same trans.
We have a 2016 CRV touring with the CV transmission. It seems ok, but the quality of Honda has really fallen off in general. We have 3 a 2014 crv (oldest daughter's car) a 2017 Civic (youngest daughter's car) and the 16 CRV.

My grand cherokee had the inline cast iron 6, I sold it with 210,000 running great.

The Subaru's auto's are now CVT transmissions. Their long term ratings are dropping like a rock.

Mopar or No Car.......
Bought a new Rav4 for my wife in Dec 2019. One of the reasons we got that was no CVT. It has an 8 spd. Too many lousy CVTs out there. Ive had 2 other toyotas and both were very reliable cars.

I am looking at new Grand Cherokee for Mrs. Seems like a solid machine.
According to this CR report Jeep was 20th on the list. No that could be the Patriot or other models dragging it down. Check out the forums. I was in the jeepforum.com, lots of good info.
