I have a 2014 1500 with the 5.7L. I have 63k miles, no issues with the bolts yet.
Should I do shorty headers now, or wait until the stock manifold warps and have them planed?
I don't mind doing headers now in order to prevent the inevitable.. I have it lifted and performance increases aren't a concern.
Thanks!

If you are going to plane them, you can do that now too.
Might be easier now if the bolts come out vs. playing with a broken bolt - either way you go.

Thanks was wondering if the warping was complete yet lol. I'd like to keep the truck as long as possible and this is the nagging issue.

It should be done changing, it has been heat cycled plenty :)

They say to use the Remflex gaskets but I don't have any experience with them.

Can't beat the 6022 Remflex gaskets on a hemi, they'll absorb a fair bit of manifold/header flange mis-alignment and don't require any retorquing.I've been running them for 5 years now,and swear by the Remflex gaskets, they're gaining alot of ground in the hi-po header world these days ,but they also work great with the stock manifolds.Only downside is you have be careful with them as they're a thick graphite gasket and they don't like being bent or flexed much.
If you plane or belt sand the manifolds semi flat and use a set of Remflex gaskets, that'll probably be the last time you ever have to touch the manifolds
If Ram used Remflex gaskets right from word "go",they'd probably never have an issue with broken bolts
