So I did a brief search and didn't find what I was looking for-

What year(s) for Chrysler oem stereos will be plug and play for my '97? I currently have cheap aftermarket unit, and I really prefer the clarity of operation from the OE offerings. I don't look for concert hall sound in the truck, but listening to a CD or the radio occasionally is all I want. Would like to find the "newest" Chrysler radio that will be a direct fit.

Thanks!

Your factory wiring for the radio will fit the
1994 MY to the 2001 MY radio. Snag a radio with a CD player from a 2001 model and go.

Anyone have a factory wiring pigtail/connector for the factory radio so I can put my wiring back to stock? Local JY's don't have any-

Thanks!

You can purchase both sides of the factory radio wiring harness. Check Amazon. Works great for repurposing a factory radio for use in the garage, camper or wherever.
