So I got some parts in the mail yesterday...…………...they just sent me the lock nuts! lol. She said that's all I requested. I kindly highlighted the drag link part # that I requested as well. haha. We'll see what happens now. Guess two nuts for free are better than nothing!
glad to see your truck finally got its nuts! Thankfully my 19 came with them. J/K

haha. Well no luck on getting the drag link. I tried. Their answer was that it left the shop just fine. My response was," Yeah you know I guess the welds undid themselves, the link readjusted itself, then the welds rewelded themselves and then it got magically repainted. Their other response was like well the part hasn't failed so why should we give you the updated part! *******. Because I drove 6 hours to buy this truck, spend 43000 dollars dummies! Apparently I should be satisfied with a crooked steering wheel. So anyways I bought this truck from Harry Browns in Fairbault, MN. Don't expect good service from them. If they got the vehicle you want the got it. Nothing can change that but I won't be buying from them again. Pretty say they won't send a 100 dollar part to keep a customer happy. But at least I got my 2 dollar nuts!! I wish I hated the truck but it's just so damn awesome!

The ‘19+/updated drag link doesn't have nuts. Unless you are talking about the one on the bolt.

Ordered the nuts from Amazon: 6505623AA. WheelerFleet has 2 of the drag links in stock for around $98.00 and some change.
Just an update. FCA did a reimbursement for my expense on the 68338342AB part. It took over 3 months and 3 different cases (strange how one disappeared, one had a Canadian case number, and the third worked). Never give up.

I'm glad the finally paid your for the part... My 2017 Ram already had the welded drag link nuts when I purchased it... The after leveling the truck it was a pain in the rear grind and cut off the welds with out damaging the drag link for a alignment. In the end I just trashed the old one and just purchased the new 2019 drag link and installed it myself. Since the recall was already performed they didn't even consider paying for the new drag link.

I think this will come back and bit FCA in the rear end... Many other RAM truck owners are going to have issues getting alignments with both drag link nuts welded...

You will be pleased with the new part. When I did the install myself, I brought the old back so they could send back to FCA to assess the integrity of the drag link. They told me they just trash them, so I did the same. For a $100 part you’d think they’d be on top of it, as well as NHTSA allowing this “repair” to be the “approved” by them so FCA can screw up the current and future alignments. Yea, now no alignment shop will undertake grinding the welds off, go back to the dealer and pay them to fix their “repair”. It all could have been handled much less of a headache they caused.

I just picked up the new drag link for my 2015 PW today. I recently ordered some Thuren goodies for my truck and figured I may as well replace the drag link so I can get it aligned after. I did have the half ass weld my nuts recall done but that's a truly stupid solution.

Seems like the answer is clear....if you want it fixed, you are going to be fixing it.

Pretty sad when a Ram care specialist is reading forums to help escalate problems. Whats that saying about the dealers? Not good in my book.

Yeah. Like I said I'm having a tough time getting any results. Some people are apparently doing ok.
