I do like the way leveling a truck looks but have been reading some horror stories after the fact (adverse handling, death wobble, etc). I rarely tow anything with my truck but do haul stuff to gun shows in the bed. I do not want to do anything to adversely effect the handling of my truck, and frankly would like to improve it if at all possible. The drag link recall is done (Thanks again Ramcares!), and I did install a rough country steering brace which helped tighten everything up. So my question to all of you who have leveled your truck.... Would you do it again? Do you regret it? Any difference in the way it handled after? Better or worse.

Well I can only speak for my "16" 2500 cclb 4x4, installed RC 2.5 leveling kit, RC adjustable track bar & RC steering box brace all in a 2 week period. Truck handles and performs just as good as before mods.
Springs, shocks & steering components are factory originals.

I leveled with the bilsteins, couldn't be happier. Did not fall prey to changing anything from OEM aside from the coils in the front and shocks in front and rear. Yep, I'd do it again. 60k, 40k with level and no issues.

heres my 2¢. i leveled mine briefly, zero issues. didnt like the looks. wanted bigger tires, went with a lift. but as far as issues if thats your concern. i had no issues.

Absolutely I would level mine again. I've got probably 50k miles on my Bilstein 2.3" level with no issues. I just did the springs. shocks, and a power wagon track bar, everything else is stock and it drives great.
I think most people with problems are either due to worn parts or poor installation and alignment.

Now going up to a "lift" (3"+) is another story.

Thank y’all, I appreciate all the feedback. Not much left to do at this point but was toying with the idea..... going to leave it stock height and put better shocks and springs in it. Next project is going to be bulletproofing the transmission.

yes definetly will level my next one too. 2 very good leveling/lift kits come from Thuren Fabrication or Carli. Very popular with the power wagon guys.

I have a cheap 2in tough country spacer level with the shock relocation bracket. No issues with mine, It changed its appearance drastically. I have pulled a 15k loaded gooseneck several times and my truck didn’t sag that bad. I didn’t notice any difference in ride quality but it does ride live a HD truck always has always will in my case.

I haul 14k.

Truck sits dead level.
So please explain how a 2” level is a squatty piece ****.
