That’s a lotta money right there.
BIG TIME!!! lol

If I didn't have my other toy, I could definitely afford it, but I like having a daily driver and a toy for only nice sunny day asphalt ripping. lol :Big Laugh: :rocking:

Just spotted one close to my neighborhood the other day, and turns out it's a friend of a friend. Hoping I can get an up close look and listen soon.

TBH it seems like a lame thing to be pissed about, but the donut is low rent as ****. We're talking lower rent than homeless folks low rent. It's absurd in a full size truck and if this is the manufacturer's attitude towards the buyers I almost regret going back to "Dodge" after my 13 year break.

I have only needed a spare on one of my 10ish pull over to the side of the road for tire issues incidents. but when I needed a spare, I was glad I had a real spare tire and not some bike tire FCA stuck up under the bed hoping someone wouldn't notice. I had to run on that spare for a couple weeks until my new tires came in. The remainder of the tire issues, I was able to fix on the side of the road with a plug kit and a compressor. I would have been happier if they just supplied me a compressor--somewhat off topic, but with only one 12V socket and a ton of 110 socket's I may have to rethink my current compressors.

I like a lot of things about this truck-my fourth Dodge flavor truck, but this is a pretty big annoyance for me. I talked a ton of **** about my Tacoma's plastic bed-I guess I'll have to talk **** about the stupid Ram donut that I'm tossing in the trash this summer.

Thing is, 99.93% of pickup drivers use them as commuter vehicles. I understand FCA's decision to cheap out on the spare.

That said, if I were planning a trip on the AlCan I would have an in-kind spare. Then again, would have a whole buncha other stuff that no OEM includes in even a "fully loaded" model.

Additionally, FCA should offer a full-sized spare on any build. And it should be included on any tow related package (it should go without saying that it would increase the cost of those packages).

if we're still talking about what we dont like about our ram trucks, I would say I wish mine had the step bumper like the '17 gmc sierra of mine had. now I step up on top of the back tire to reach stuff in the bed and as a senior citizen...getting harder to do.

I had a '14 GMC with what I assume was the same feature you are referring to.

Yes, it's nice. But I greatly prefer the deployable bed step available on the Ram. MUCH larger step, and a bit lower to the ground.

You probably have the Big Horn trim which is the equivalent to the Lone Star trim in Texas. It is available in both crew and quad cab.

I personally have the Laramie, and there was no back seat storage available of any sort. Under floor is not available on any QCs as far as I know. All I wanted was what was on my 5 years older, one trim level lower truck - underseat storage and a fold-flat floor. I would give up the higher resolution B/U camera for it. Or...... let me think - not a whole lot else that's a real improvement. Well, Car-Play is one, but why isn't it wireless?!!

Not a horrible idea in bold-especially the towing package one. Rando observation that there seems to be several flavors of tow packages. Almost all come with hitches. Mine came with the integrated trailer brake controller which is awesome.

off topic, but the ALCAN is a relatively easy drive that people waaaay over prepare for. Me included when I did it. That isn't saying there aren't special preps for the drive, knowledge that you may be out of cell coverage once you go west of Edmonton, special planning about where to stop as you can't guarantee the next town will have an open gas pump, or special considerations winter vs summer, but it's generally a modern road with plenty of towns along the way. Of course, I routinely carry extra stuff/tools with me, so I'm already one of those way over prepared folks.

Now back to my kvetching--why have my floor mats been stuck in NJ since Monday. WTF UPS-you should have been here Wednesday.

That is another annoyance that I found. I did order the Du-Ha storage bin which seems well made. I haven't installed it yet as I'm waiting on my floorboards.

but an extra 250-300$ maybe..the built-in steps were included for no upcharge.

I don't get it. Did you order and pay for a 5G TRX and got a 4G Sport? Sounds like a perfect case for RamCares.

Just looked it up. It's interesting for sure. But it means you are pretty much limited to putting large items on the seat, which I avoid when I can.

I ordered a roll-top type tonneau cover that has a built-in mini toolbox above the roll-top storage area. Mind you, I ordered it in December and still haven't received it. Three weeks ago they said "another two weeks"...

I didn't want the ORG. Primarily because I prefer an LSD over manually locking differential. I don't off-road, and would rarely have need of a mechanically locked differential, and would hate to give up the advantages of an LSD on the road. And yes, I can make 11s.

For car play to wireless requires additional hardware that would be expensive to include. Bluetooth just doesn't have the capability to carry the amount of data needed. There are a couple aftermarket head units that support it, but the ones I have seen don't fit Ram trucks, but my search was never exhaustive so someone may know more on that. Also, there are dongles out there to plug in, but again limited research in the past found that an unstable version of the software was used to engineer the units, so I stayed away.

my laramie has under seat and those two in the floor storage compartments..not much room behind the seats. sub woofer on one side and too much trouble to get to the other side...I miss the bed storage compartments I had on my old avalanche.

The CC does have the in floor (or can, at least). I expect the seats are the same in CC and QC so surprised they didn't offer the under-seat storage on mine.

But, to beat a dead horse, underseat storage is near worthless to me without the fold-flat floor.

I feel like the wireless charger could be in another area to make it easier to use. I have a small case on my phone and it’s difficult to get it into the charging port and lined up to charge. I’ve seen more blinking red lights then I ever want to see. Lol other then that I love my 2019 Ram Crew 4x4 limited.

It’s like they only design that stuff for just the phone itself and not whatever case it’s in. My ‘18 has a little holder in the middle console but with my otterbox, my phone is a tight fit so I don’t even use it.

So far only 2 things, coming from a 17' tacoma, that thing had tons of storage around the cab, just lots of spots to hide tools. The ram has larger spaces but fewer of them. And I wish it had a flat rear floor like the F-150s.
