I installed the Deezee tailgate assist and started my bed light install. It was finally warm enough to risk the LEDs not sticking under the rails. Still need to finish the wiring. I’m using the Curt trailer adapter for power and doing a pin switch in the tailgate with a bypass switch and relay.

Fixed my horrible front seat and installed Gator Liners. I bought my truck from the original owner but he used it as a work truck the last few years and it was really dirty. I'm probably going to have to shampoo the driver seat back a few more times.

I’m the original owner of my truck and use it as a personal/work truck. A couple months into ownership I could see how poorly my seats were standing up to use so I put seat covers on them to help protect them. My previous truck was 15 years old when I replaced it and the cloth seats stood up well. I could see that if I didn’t put seat covers on my new ram that by the end of the year they would look worse then the ones in my previous 15 year olds truck after 15 years of hard use. From what I’ve heard ram has two levels of cloth seats. I have the lower level if that’s true.

I drove mine to the store to pick something up.

I picked up some weathertech window vents for my truck. When I got them home I promptly installed them. I’ve been wanting some for awhile and now I’ve got some.

I like that they’re low profile

Im in the middle of picking which MaxTrac kit im going to get, the 4.5"/3" or the 7"/4.5". I know for a fact i want the Fox 2.0 Shocks all the way around the F+R, but i am thinking i will need some new UCA's too. How much were those, what site had the best price for you, and which product # did you order so if i end up ordering the 7" lift i can make sure i order the same UCA's as you.

Cant wait for my new wheels to get here in a week or two, i have to make a final decision on which lift kit i want so i can order it from Nick@GotExhaust and it can get here before the wheels and tires.

Let me know how they work out. I've been considering a set for my truck. Does it help with wind noise when the windows are cracked open? When driving down the highway and wanting a little air flow into the cabin, seems when I crack my windows a little bit, it gets SUPER loud. Kind of annoying.

When I put my driver's side window down on warm days, it's makes a very squeaky sound all the way down.
Anyone else experience this? Just started happening last year.

You guys like those GMC trucks?
The AT4 Denali and the Denali 1500 look pretty awesome. You can get them with body colored matching wheel well trim, a big brake Brembo kit, as well as the Performance exhaust, (made by Borla), and the cold air intake as well. Pretty awesome. Plus, the 6.2 engine.
I saw one on the road a couple of weeks ago. Looked pretty nice. Real nice actually.

The Ram is still king of truck interiors in my opinion though.

I used to prefer the GMC over Chevy when I was younger but with the current crop I love the Silverado. It would be a serious contender for my next truck if GM got their act together with their interiors. Right now they just don't compete with Ram and Ford. The other stumbling block for me with GMC/Chevy has in the past been their refusal to compete for price point and financing rates like RAM & Ford. They seem to be doing better now though.

I agree on all points.

I like the RST and Trail Boss truck too, but I'm not so sold on Chevy's longevity. Unless that has changed. I used to be a die hard Chevy guy. lol
They also have the 6.2 engine and the performance upgrades as well. Pretty awesome.

Ram needs to offer stuff like that straight from the factory in my opinion.

They’re a popular choice. It was between the weathertech and the avs. I liked the weathertech better because they are low profile. I’ll see how they perform this week. When you open the front windows also open the rear one a bit too. It will help it with the noise.

I replaced my 6 OEM speakers with Kicker KS series. The sound quality is very noticeable 1dd5a7d62e70d03a9e2f8ee1273f4b70.jpg20608677c566fa270b42af82eddef643.jpg
