Hello everyone recently I purchased a truck and on my way home it started whining. I changed the water pump and the belt tensioner. But still the sound continues. It sounds like the harmonic damper but I'm not sure. A shop told me torque converter but after getting under the car it is definitely front of the motor. Here is a video of the sound

Thank you for your help

Disconnect the belt and see if it goes away.
Then check to make sure your air-conditioning compressor isn't seizing up causing the belt to squeal.
See if your power steeing pump is free to turn with little friction and doesn't make any noise.

Mine was just doing that, not the exact noise but very close.
I put in a new :
Power steering pump,
Idler & tensioner pulleys,
& new belt.
It's like new again.

When taking the belt off the noise continues. I'm thinking it's the damper pulley rubbing somehow. But not 100 recent just replaced water pump and idler pulley.

I've done the tensioner and water pump but sounds like bottom of motor not top. Had a shop tell me torque converter but the sound is from of motor and not trans when I'm under the truck torque rattles but doesn't squeel

Try removing the oil fill cap and run it. Years ago i had a 5.9 with the lower intake gasket leaking so bad it was pulling vacuum past the front crank seal, making a whistling noise.
