Ordered 1st Power Wagon

Ordered my Power Wagon on 4/22, just got the VIN and it's status "D1" today, have awhile to wait but am very excited. This'll be my 3rd Ram truck but decided to go a bit bigger with this one. I went with Ram boxes again because I love them but am really hoping they fixed whatever they made the covers out of that sheds fiberglass into me every time I touch it. I'll try and keep the thread updated if anyone is interested, I know I searched and read a number of posts to get an idea of what timeframe people were experiencing.

Congrats. I tried to order one last Friday and I've since spoken to 3 dealerships who have told me they are no longer taking 2021 orders, which is a bummer since I want the 75th Anniversary edition and I'm not sure what they'll be offering in 2022 (and won't know for a few months).

Congrats! I ordered on Feb 3 and I've heard it's been shipped. Hope to see it in about 3 weeks.

Congrats! My 2021 took about 3 months for delivery, but it was ordered back in Dec 2020. You’re gonna love it!

Wow, I guess I got in under the wire, sorry to hear you can't order yours. Hopefully they'll go back to orders soon or is it because it's a 75 edition?

Thanks for that info, I was hoping it'd be sooner but 3 months and sometimes considerably longer seems to be the trend. I basically put every option on this thing except the 75 year package and the off-road package. I test drove a 75 edition and hated the rock rails, this monster needs an actual step! First time I've ever ordered a vehicle, the waiting is agony, and it's only been 3 weeks!

yeah I just put down a deposit for an order that should take place in a month or so. It'll be a 22.

I am at 5 weeks from when I placed the order and got the build sheet today. It is estimated the truck will be delivered the 3rd week of June, so hopefully the total duration will be in the 10-11 week range.

Granted, I ordered a Tradesman PW and it does not have all the tech that the standard PW contains. That is much less electronics that appears to be in shortage these days.

Every year at this time they stop taking orders for the current year model

When it was called Chrysler & then changed to FCA, they closed orders in May
Maybe the same thing will happen with Stellantis

The new year model normally can be seen at the dealerships in September, just in time for the September Auto Shows
Other times you may not see them until the Texas State Fair

Normally each manufacturing year starts on July 1 & ends on June 30
................................................

I am thinking that when Stellantis finally gets the Microchips in stock
They will install them into the partially finished Rams & ship them out.
Then there will be a fair amount of brand new 2021 Rams on dealership Sales Lots & hopefully the pricing will go back down to normal

Mine is going to be Olive Green (with the black on bottom). Felt it was unique, I live in the desert and 75% of the trucks here are white.

Build sheet / equipment listing came available Monday ( 5 weeks and 4 days from when I ordered) which means it was built! Dealership is saying 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. Super excited!

In-transit updated delivery is "6/16 through 6/30"... This Thursday will be 8 weeks since order. Longest 8 weeks ever. Last "event" states ZAVALZA, DG? Quick google search couldn't find a place with that name but there is a trucking company with that name. Could it be off the train and on a truck? Hopefully next update will be a picture of her!

Interestingly enough....I live in one town and ordered my PW from a dealer in another town about 15 mins way. I was awaiting my delivery...1 week window. I was driving through my town and saw a car hauler with a bunch of trucks on it.
Low and behold...my PW was on that hauler! They were going to the next town to deliver it to my dealer. I was so stoked. Took delivery April 21st.

I understand that the trucks can sit in staging areas until enough are ready to go to a certain dealership, but it's seriously infuriating when it's been sitting on a lot just 2 hours away for the last week and a half with no updates.

just ordered my PW 2022, they said it would be about 75 days, went with the level 3 package which is adding most of the upgrades from the 75th edition, doesn’t include the beadlock tires though
