Don't see PROXI under any Magnum BCM. There is Vehicle Config2 Tire Pressure System Present with option for Set or Not Set.
I think that may disable the system and the light. You then are old school and check tire pressure with a tire pressure gauge.
Yeah I've seen that, but I want the system to work, just with different than stock settings.

I finally got the DRLs working the way I wanted on my 2009 with Alpharex headlights. If I set them to parking lights, the lower orange LEDs came on so I knew that the truck was capable. I wanted the high beams to be the DRLs but they weren't coming on. Turns out I had to set the voltage for each side. The default was zero volts. I set each to 9 volts and now they come on when in gear. The top LED strips are hard wired to come on with the key so they're both on now as DRLs. I like the look.

Would you mind telling me all you had to change in alfaobd??

I am putting in AlphaRex headlights tomorrow with HID low and LED high. And it has upper and lower DRL. I have never used alfaobd and I really have no clue what changes I need to make to get this working correctly. Can someone help me out here please?? My truck is 2017 with oem halogen lights.

Mine is a 2009 so yours might require different things. My headlights are the older Alpharex ones without the sequential turn signals and the DRL is only on the top. My truck came with single headlights so I had to change the setting to Quads in Alfaobd in order to get the highbeams to work correctly.

I'll have to connect it again to take screenshots of the changes. I had to set the DRLs in one area and then the settings under Body Control Computer. Under the reconfigurable settings I set DRL to Optional, Location to High Beams and then the DRL voltage to 9.0v for the right and the left. They are separate settings.

When you set the DRL to optional on High beam how do the DRL's turn on? I am not even sure if I am going to need to use a fuse tap or if they turn on with a certain setting. I got the Alpharex with sequential and DRL on bottom and top.

Does Alphaobd give the option for HID? or to run HID do I just need to set it to LED?

No matter where you set drls, as soon as the truck is in drive, neutral or reverse they'll turn on. With the alpharex headlights you'll be supplied with a "drl" harness to control the upper and lower strips. The drl harness wiring for them is simple, each headlight has a separate 1 wire connection, then you connect to positive and negative side of the battery the tap into a keyed on fuse. So whenever the key is turned to on/acc or run the strips will be on no matter what gear you are in.

Alpharex doesn't supply hid or leds. A lot of members run innovative hids (Amazon ~$40) and either Hikari, aukee or there's another one that's starts with a k I think that I can't remember off hand.

You'll want to set both parking and turn signals to led, and set veh. Config 3 high intensity discharge lights to enabled. This will turn off the pwm (what causes issues with led/hids flickering). Doesn't matter whether you choose hid or leds. You can also set low beam to led but isn't necessary. There is a few other settings you may have to change if you get a parking or turn signal out message but I don't recall what they are

That's exactly what I got. The innovated HID and Hikari LEDs for my highs. Okay this sounds like it should he fairly easy. When changing the turn signals and park lights to LED does alfaobd set front and back separately?

I didn't have to set the turn signals to LED on my 2009. I don't get any lamp out messages on the dash and they blink properly. I'm just using the bulbs that came with them. The only other LEDs on my truck are the dome lights.

The fuse tap wire is just a signal to the lamp to tell it that the key is on. The power for them comes from the battery connection.

I like how Alpharex set them up. The upper strip is bright with the key on and dims a bit when the headlights are on. They're actually bright enough to meet the requirement to have the lights on in my rural area but I wanted to see what it would be like with the high beams on as DRLs as well.

What is the typical voltage setting for the high beams as DRLs?

I also use the AlphaRex lights and have LED tails. I do not get the errors on the dash, but in AlfaOBD if I check errors they are there. Not sure if that hurts anything or not.

Has anyone here purchased AlfaOBD from the Amazon store? I want to try out the new version to get my RF Hub PIN, but I bought it through Amazon, and Amazon is only showing the demo version now. And it shows that no update is available for the full version.

I'll have to connect my scan tool and see if I have anything.

Need some help please. I have a 2016 Ram 1500 Quad cab Big Horn 5" uconnect radio, and just installed the integrated brake controller. I followed the Known Working list, and set the 3 CSM and the P/T Chassis settings. I can now navigate to Trailer Tow in driver's cluster screen, and the switch is able to adjust gain and manually activate the brake. The problem is that there is no setting on the radio to allow naming a trailer or selecting a trailer. Any ideas on what I can do to troubleshoot? Thanks!

Some settings take a while to be registered, the CSMs for the IBC may be one of them, give it overnight with the truck OFF. Some also require several key cycles. If they still aren't showing, go in with Alpha and make sure the settings "took", that they are showing as set.

Heres the process for anyone that may need it.

Connect to body computer
Car configuration change
CustSetMenu 2 - trailer selected CSM =yes
CustSetMenu 2-trailer name CSM = yes
CustSetMenu 2 - Trailer Type CSM = Yes
P/T Chassis Net - ITBM/HWM Integrated Trailer Brake Module = Enable

Thanks Kad! You were right. I "rested" the truck overnight, and Trailer Brake appeared in radio settings.

Has anyone used Alfa to program new injector trim codes in a Cummins?
