Installed some Aries side step nerf bars. I can't say enough about Leonard Truck Accessories. My first set arrived damaged. They sent a second set at no cost, and didn't want the first set returned.

Long day on the Ram. I will say this do it right the first time. I just did meguires ultimate compound polish, and then butter wax. It lasted 4 months and only masked the imperfections. Today I clay barred the truck twice to get it right. I used Chemical guys, then I went with a product I have heard was great. Adams swirl and scratch remover. It took me twice to get it all out. I have had quicker results, but I had a lot of bonding time with my youngest today. I ended up using V38 polish as it was already shiny before. It really made the paint pop. Finally and I will say this I’m partial to Chemical guys as I love almost all of their stuff. I’ve been detailing my cars for 20 years. As my dad told me at 16 you’re going to rub the paint off of it. Detailing and cleaning are my stress reliever. Anyways, I did my homework and went with Adams Ceramic coating. Wow was my ground work spot on. It was a sunny 75 degrees and the second I got to doing the hood on my steep stole. Yes I’m 6” and my driveway is steep. I hit it and it was like I was starring into the sun. I can’t speak more highly of the Adams ceramic coating! Top notch! Really the truck is white, so it hides everything. My neighbor friend has a black Tahoe and when they get back from Arkansas, we are going to do it. He was shocked at the results. Pictures do not even begin to do it justice. Don’t skimp. Meguires isn’t top shelf anymore. I’m doing my Charger tomorrow not even close to the Ram. It only needs minimal.

Great looking truck. Really like the subtle center cap on your wheels there. You make those or purchase them?

Our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Crossing the Rainbow Bridge is always harder for us than for them. Have peace in knowing they will run free, pain free and amongst all their loving friends. One day we will all meet again :waytogo:

Been there before man. Its a sad day for sure. Hope you are doing ok, and remembering all of the good memories. It definitely gets easier, but you’ll always miss them. Godspeed pupper!!
Thank you.

This one was really tough as she was up and playing just 4 hours earlier. Still really confused as to what happened.

Sorry for your loss. Our 13 year old Greyhound did something similar. Was up running like she had discovered the fountain of youth one day and then never got off her bed the next day. My son and I carried her on her bed to the SUV and then to the vet. I cried like a baby.

God Bless You and remember the sweet times!

Drove to Ventura to pick up a 1961 Plymouth Belvedere for a friend in Australia. I'll have to do some work to it before shipping it there.

Truck pulled it just fine. The truck behind it is owned by the guy the car came from. He lives above Sacramento and brought it down to Ventura so I didn't have to go all that way. He buys and sells these kinds of cars and has probably 1000 cars in his two yards.

Thank you! I made them! No one makes them. I wanted something that set the truck apart.

I thought I was the only one who had this issue, mine pops off constantly. Interested to hear how it works out for you and maybe a pic at some point.
It’s only been a week, but I suspect that it’s fixed for good. (I’ve certainly jinxed myself by saying this.)

here you go…

AHHHH! My eyes!
More blinding eyes lol. I spent from 6 am until now doing some minor correction to the Charger. It had two small scratches in the mirrors that bugged me. I polished it and then Ceramic coated it. The big project Was my wifes Pacifica. I keep it clean. Its always been waxed and maintained. Holy crap the clay bar picked up so much trash. I fixed a few scratches, polished it and then ceramic coated it as well. The Ram gets to get the wife a new sectional in a little bit.

So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.
Washed & spray-on ceramic applied, just finishing front fender when first drops appeared. The weather app on my phone had it at 30% chance this morning then changed to just cloudy. I thought it would be perfect as I don’t have a good shady spot to work & am usually trying to rush because of the sun. I had it rain the next day after a wash, but never before I could finish. Thanks weather channel you nailed it!2AEC2771-69E6-458F-B91D-6C9BC4769E2E.jpeg

Used it like a truck to deliver my wife’s new sectional! After unbanding it. I haul safely.
