Drove to Ventura to pick up a 1961 Plymouth Belvedere for a friend in Australia. I'll have to do some work to it before shipping it there.

Truck pulled it just fine. The truck behind it is owned by the guy the car came from. He lives above Sacramento and brought it down to Ventura so I didn't have to go all that way. He buys and sells these kinds of cars and has probably 1000 cars in his two yards.

Now that's a contact I'd love to get. Can already visualize how that car would look :waytogo:

Just drove it.

I'm a little off as the weekend was a really crappy weekend weather-wise. I was looking forward to taking the car out and washing the truck, but none of that happened. Totally sucks.
Happy Memorial Day! God Bless our troops. Past, preset and future.

So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.

Found a water stain at the right rear headliner right under the satellite pod after 3 days of heavy rain.
Removed the subwoofer under the seat and found 2" of standing water.:( Left side was dry.
Spent the day drying it out, and sealed the roof pod (and 3rd brake light for good measure) with clear RTV. Subwoofer still working fine.
First leak in over 3 years of car washes.

They are so prone to failure. Sounds like a good plan with RTV. Glad your sub wasn't ruined.

It's been over 3 years since the last time I polished and coated my Ram, so it was due! I used CQuartz last time around on it and it held up great, but tried a few different things this time. I deironized it, hit it with clay, 1 step polish, wiped down with IPA and tried the DP Graphene and it is definitely not what I'm used to when applying a coating, but looks great on the dark blue.

Took a much needed vacation last week. About a 5 hour drive from home up to the White Mountains for some hunting and fishing.

Didn't end up taking many pics sadly. Did a little off-roading too which is always fun!

I did not come here this morning expecting that I was going to want to cry, but here I am...

God speed pupper! Wishing you and your family the best right now. Never a fun day.

It's always weird to think that dogs are here for only part of our lives, but to them we're their whole lives! Such a gift.
