I bought a 6" Rc lift for my 2016 1500, first lift I'm installing.
Do I need new control arms or can I keep stock. RC said stock would work but I don't trust them.

Also getting new rims and tires I've been told I can only run 35x12.5R20. Would I be able to run 37x12.5R17 looking at the Falken wildpeak MTS. Rims not sure what I'm getting but I'd like a - 12 to - 20 off set.

I'm not really an expert or authority on these lifts, I just read a ton of material and watched about 500 video's on it, LOL. First off, make sure (whatever kit you get) includes the coiled front struts. Second, yes, I would replace upper control arms simply because- though the geometry may be ok, heavier wheels and whatever challenges they face will reek some havoc on ball joints. Besides most aftermarket control arms have zerks for ball joint. Just my 2 cents.

Generally full kits do not need new upper control arms since they are designed to mimic factory angles unless you are pushing the kits beyond what they were designed fo. ie: leveling struts to increase lift.
