Sounds goodGreat, thank you for the help and extra effort. I will go out shortly. It’s 104 out there.... I will report back.
Awesome bud .Update.
CBC Feature/ Trailer tow - set to yes, fixed my issue, both the 7 pin and the 4 pin work!
Wasn’t able to find CONTROL/ Trailer Tow any who. also, did not touch Ext Lighting load Shed.
Thank you Skuppy069 and Crash68 for your help, and willingness to share your knowledge.
How do you connect to the trailer brake module? I’m having the same issue he had with the code but I’m not seeing where I can connect to it to test… is it under body computer? If he has the wrong Module and Connects to the trailer brake module there will be a vehicle line mismatch in there
Let’s see what he reports back with .
I tried that the other day when I was messing with it and didn't even see an option for trailer brake module... Maybe I'm remembering wrong or just missed it.Instead of connecting to body computer select the drop down and look for trailer brake module .
Fuse 87 for the trailer tow, pretty sure that’s the correct one. I’ve seen it mentioned in another threadAre you sure the fuse is in the TIPM? I think if you pull the fuse it will always just say there isn't a trailer connected. Just a thought, and something simple. I will soon be addressing this on a 5500. I have the swap done (I used infotainment.com's flash) I haven't wired the back of the truck yet so it's unknown if I will have to chase down something similar to your scenario.
