So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.
Drove up to Quick-Shifter’s shop to install some headers & hi-flow cat’s. Got to meet his brother who came to help, he’s just like Quick- Shifter, not satisfied until it’s right. My truck fought them the whole way, only one broken manifold bolt but the dipstick was rusted solid into the block. Ended up getting new one & it needed lots of adjusting to fit properly, looked like huge pia to get on, but when the dipstick wasn’t smooth going in they didn’t hesitate to pull it back off to tweak it until it was right. Another great day and the knowledge that the job is done right!

I was considering those wheels as well. My wheels are in just waiting on the tires and tpms sensors to come in Monday or Tuesday.
Mine are coming in all mounted, balanced and ready to go. Although I’m having some hesitation and thinking I wonder if I should have gone for 22x10 or 22x12 and a lift later down the road.
I have a hard time making up my mind.

I feel like the 20x10 looks a little small on a 4”-6” lift

I put my carven muffler on this weekend at work, it fought mine and the other guy who helped me the whole damn time, we ended up just cutting off the old muffler damn thing was so rusted and caked on it wouldn’t budge. Then the new one fought us the whole way back on. Took us way longer than needed and it’s not completely perfect but man I really have learned to dislike all exhaust work

Yea I was gonna go that route to but my dad can get real good prices on tires through the dealership he works at. Like the cheapest I found the Mickey Thompson’s on the internet he beat by $55 a tire and our local off-road shop beat custom offsets wheel prices by almost $300 so I saved a good bit going that route. But yea all depends on your preference and if ya lift it down the road. I don’t have plans lifting this truck so I’m good to go lol

I have 18x9 with 37x12.50R18. Not too bad looking :) my lift is 8”

Well, after 2 weeks of waiting, I’ve found out my wheels are on back order. Placed a call and changed out the set up. Ended up just ordering some 22x12 wheels and 33x12.50 tires.

Now 3 more weeks of waiting for them lol

What are you going to use? I had excellent results the the Chemical guys clay medium clay bar, Adams Scratch and swirl remover, Chemical guys V38 and then I ceramic coated it with Adams.
I use Meguair's GOLD CLASS car wash because it's ph neutral and works pretty amazing.
I also have a microfiber claytowel that I use. I forget the name. I also use the same name for the clay lube. The claytowel is such a genius invention!! So easy to use and works amazing.
Polish, I use Zaino polishes.
Wax, I use Car Guys Premium Liquid Wax. STELLAR, STELLAR product. Get it while you can, it sells out on Amazon and the Car Guys website.
Lots of Adam's microfiber towels. I use them once and throw them out or if they're not too dirty, I use them for the inside of the wheels and then throw them out. I also use the Griot's Garage PFM drying towel, which is an amazing product.

Gave it a decent wash job. I don't hand wash as much as I should. But having minimal shade and a black truck, it's quite time consuming. So I got out my 14x14 canopy and left the truck half in the garage then when the front half was done I pulled forward more to wash the bed. It's not bad for 86k miles. I've got an appointment in October for full paint correction and ceramic coating. Hopefully the handful of small scratches with buff out.

Also didn't get a picture yet but my black 5" Carven tips showed up that I bought from @Sgambots91. Cleaned them up and put them on before work. I've got to get them aligned a little better but they're already better than my stock tips were. (as seen in the picture)

Looks good to me! No shade at my house either. Early morning is the best.

Looks great man!! Curious what you and others are using for a buffer/polisher. Thinking about picking one up, but there are so many out there! Certainly not looking for something pro, but anything that will help me do some clean up and swirl removal in the driveway would be great!
