I bought my 2015 Ram 2500 used and it was louder than stock. It had a little rumble to it, the previous owner had removed the resonator. Can't remember if there was any drone.
I'm well aware of how annoying it is to have a vehicle with a drone since I had a truck before with an aftermarket exhaust system that had a terrible drone at cruising speeds and had it changed right away!
Just my personal taste is that I would go for FlowMaster before any Magnaflow muffler. I had a Magnaflow after cat system on one of my Corvettes and it had a drone, just my personal experience.
Some muffler shops sell FlowMaster knock offs at a fraction of the cost.
Nothing like hearing the rumble of the Hemi! :) I kept my current truck stock since I do lots of city driving and if I get on it some it doesn't attract too much attention.

Here’s the pic of the 19200 MF. It is an amazing improvement over stock. 4inch stainless tip looks like it was made for a PW. I’ll make a video of sound. There is basically no drone. Slight around 50mph, other than that it has a deep rich growl that should be stock on this truck.

I've been thrilled with the MBRP stainless exhaust. Dual tips, single side exit. Drone is there...but minimal (less than the Carven on my 2017 Rebel).

Nice deep V8 tone...and minimal drone. Just my perspective. Cost was $750 shipped...went with the higher grade T409 Stainless set.

Got the truck back and the tech decide to make it dual exhaust. I call them today to pay over the phone and the owner said “Randy set you up real nice with dual exhaust on the Ram Charger. Make sure you like us on Facebook “. I thought oh **** what have they done to my truck. Surprising it looks and sounds awesome! Probably wouldn’t last in Moab but I’ll be fine in the red clay.

So, I requested the muffler shop to install the magnaflow and reinstall the resonator but they put the two tail pipes. I’m thinking it’s droning too much and I’m going to have them install the resonator. There are 2 exits for each tail pipe from the muffler. Can they just “cap” one off and reinstall my original tail pipe with the resonator to the other exit or am I off on this? Seems like it would work since there is only one pipe entering the muffler.

Just do an electric exhaust cutout right before the muffler. I went with the badlands kit. It’s stock until you open the valve, then it’s a monster!
