For those of you with experience in this field, Are they all good? should i go for the Dewalt ?
The Flex one is damn heavy and i don't think i've seen this brand until know. i'm a home hobbyst lol so i won't be making a living out opf the tool but i'm really looking for a impact wrench with lots of guevos and batteries that last.

Thanks a lot.

What are you using it for, in your own garage or are you going to use it everyday at work?

Flex is a new lowes brand and does very well against the others watching some of those tool guys online.
I just picked up a makita, 430lbs of break away torque, plenty for most home stuff and very light. Its takes lugnuts off with ease and drives lags no problem.
If your shopping lowes maybe find a brushless dewalt tool only with lower torque then the one above, pick up a drill driver combo and then you'll have a charger and batteries for all.

I haven't used any of those there but I love my Milwaukee. Good power and the battery lasts a while.

If you want the 1/2" with the most power, shop the Ingersoll-Rand W7152. You'd have to mail order most likely, but it beats even the Milwaukee in the comparisons I've seen. I have an older model, W7150, that I bought new several years ago. It's been a great tool. Very strong and no issues with it or the battery.

I would highly recommend the Milwaukee M18 Fuel line, either the "high torque" if you want maximum power, or the "mid torque". The med torques is more than enough impact for most end users. If your not invested into a tool battery line, then look at the "package" models that come with batteries, charger, and case. As mentioned the Inersoll-Rand is agreat tool as well, but the advantage of Milwaukee is so many tools they offer. You can search the web for tons of video's and reviews, and take it from there. Lowes does not handle Milwaukee, Home Depot does, and Farm & Fleet, and Fleet/Farms stores do as well.

On a budget that dewalt will be your best bet of the group if you want other power tools and to be able to use the battery for other tools. The Milwaukee is a beast and what I have, but the beast one is a lot more money that you may not need to spend.

Get the DeWalt. I have had one for over 2 years and it has worked flawlessly. Battery still holds a charge like new. Do be careful when tightening bolts. On the highest setting it will shear off lug studs. It has that much torque.

I’ve got a 1/4 porter cable that’s been through hell and back. My wife bought this for Father’s Day some 8 years ago and it’s still kicking. This is model # PCC640 that came with dual 20v Lithium batteries and a charger. The impact is rated for 1450 in-lb (120 ft-lb) but I’m certain it is underrated as it’s outperformed my 1/2” pneumatics at times.

I’ve used it for everything you can think of and it’s still kicking a$$ and taking names. I’m also still using the original batteries that came with the unit.

I‘m sure you could find one on Amazon for $150 or so and have a solid unit.

Here’s a link to the specs - Porter Cable PCC640

Be sure to get a large capacity battery. Some come with a small battey. You want 4 or 6 Ah battery to get ful torque

I have the exact Kobalt 1/2" and the Flex 1/2" impact and the both work extremely well. I use them daily in my shop and I like using both of them.

I find myself grabbing the Flex impact more often when I need more power. In my opinion the Flex impact put out more power with a weaker battery than the Kobalt does with the same battery power.

I carry a Craftsman V20 1/2" impact in my truck and I have been very happy with it too.

I'll be using it in my garage. They didn't have Milwaukee.
If you're just using it for yourself to do your own work in the driveway then really any of them will be fine. Pick one you're comfortable with and have at it. If you're using it to make money with and will be using it on a daily basis then I would highly recommend the Milwaukee brand. Dont over think this. Buy what your budget allows you to buy

Yeah, whatever your lineup is just stick with that, I went with dewalt 20's, but my friends use Milwaukee, I can easily say I regret the dewy's. Not that dewy is bad, but Milwaukee is just that much better even at 18. I'm not sure what the difference is, maybe gearing, maybe stator's, dunno, but it is a thing this I am sure of.

I will say I use my Dewy 20 impact on all my lugs and any side work I do, and it doesn't even labor getting off lugs and seams to put them back perfect, not too tight and not too lose before clutches skips.

+1 on the Dewalt. I run only Dewalt lawn and garage tools now and love them. Especially when paired with a flexvolt battery.
