I've read and read about the bypass, and am looking to order one up.

Are there any manufacturers to avoid?

Kind of the same question with the tie rods. I've used MOOG for years, but it seems like these 4th gens have better parts available than some of the other trucks I've had. Not to mention the knowledge base seems a little deeper on this board.

Thanks guys!

I selected RevMax and was happy. That's all I know.

Copy that. They all look fairly similar, just minor tweaks to the threaded connections from what I've seen so far.

Personally, stick with OEM tie rod. Synergy makes a tie rod, many swear by them, others not so much. I run a Mishimoto TBV only because it is convertible between open or thermostat. The one for the 6.7 Cummins will work on the 6.4L. Unless of course you have a 6.7. Just re-read and you said 68RFE in topic.

Oh man, I guess I didn't research quite as far as I had thought. My truck has a 6.4. I need to verify which tranny it has.

On top of that, I'm kind of leaning towards some OEM parts for this truck. The originals have lasted quite a while, seems like they are decent quality.

ATS is what I used, fits 66 and 68. Best mod I did, lowered temps from 205+ to 165 -175 while towing in 110 degree temps.
Several threads on this.

Nice! Thanks for the clarification, fellas. It's a 66 then, since mine is a gasser. I need to get a TBV ordered... Been out of town or busy.
