Here's a little amusing update for you! I took a drive off road today to give the new rear shocks a chance to work. Unfortunately, I completely forgot about all the months worth of empty beer bottles I'd thrown in the bed earlier today! I can't believe that I didn't break a single of the 106 bottles! I used a good amount of the available travel today and the rear end was tuned to its softest settings for low speed compression. I would like to remove the rear coils and see where in the travel do the bump stops contact the rear axle. So far I'm thrilled with the performance of these Fox shocks! Wait until you get the front CO's then give the truck hell again.
This is why i'll always say if you never tried race shocks before wait until you do. Everything else you knew about shocks and how they feel and react to the road/lack of road will change after that. They cost more for a reason and noticing the before and after is a simple matter of pushing the gas without fears on any dirt road. The grin in your face will last months :)

Nice. Can't wait to see the pics. Wait until you have them in your hands side by side. 2.5 shocks or CO's are massive as you know compare to the regular stuff. If you thougth the rear 2.5 Fox were big and heavy, wait for the CO's :)

I can hardly wait!!!! They are due on September 8th and I'm hoping to have them installed on the 10th. Then I can really do some testing and post my observations!

How did the same RR crossing feel BEFORE you installed the Fox shocks?
To be honest, I only found that particular crossing after having the new shocks installed. I can definitely feel a difference in the valving vs the Bilstein's. My Fox's feel like they absorb washboard roads better and so far they feel bottomless. Being a 2.5 shock they have more inherent friction but the more that I break them in, the more supple the ride is getting. Earlier today I drove over a set of speed bumps I'm very familiar with and I didn't feel the rear end go over them at all! The front Bilstein's set at 2.8 lift definitely let me feel them!

I only literally drove a few minutes home on them on a flat road so not sure about that yet. I'll try to mount my GoPro camera and look for any issues such as that. Updates coming soon!!!! UPDATE: Thanks for pointing out the reservoirs because as you saw, they were too close to the control arms! I moved the reservoirs further forward in their clamps to improve the clearance. I did drive back and forth over a really pot holed dirt road section this morning and the improvement in control and comfort was dramatic over the Bilstein's which nearly rattled the truck to death! Can't wait to dial in the compression settings and hit some more rough stuff!

Loosen up the clamps and move the res a little forward then tighten them down and that should be it. Think about getting the Spmaxx sway bar links as those stockers won't last long If the truck is going to be driven hard in washboards and what not. I remember I bought replacements from my local auto parts store and they lasted hours for me lol. The bushings literally disintegrated same day. I don't remember the brand though one those chitty Moogs or whatever BS we get from Oreally as factory replacements.

I got her a little dirty this morning on a hydro line! OMG, the suspension is SUPER capable now!!! The section I drove was really rutted and uneven and the truck handled it surprisingly well even without stiffening the compression adjusters! There didn't seem to be any clearance issues after I relocated the reservoirs in their clamps. More updates coming soon!

I saw it was a issue when I installed mine. So I didn’t use all 3 mounting points. I think I’m only using 1 bolt to hold it in.
How are you liking them? I'm having so much fun tuning the compression and driving over things that would destroy stock shocks! LOL
