Mine looks the same. Still waiting to hear back from dealer but @RamCares has escalated my case. At least I have MaxCare warranty so my deductible should be all it will cost.

Update
Once I removed it from the truck, the goo from the screen was everywhere. I regret to say my attempt to fix was a failure. No idea of what to do now.
Getting ready to try a screen replacement on the UAQ upgrade in my parents 14 ram.... Same scenario ... Got the goo leaking out the bottom when I took it out today.

@golfer99 Mine looked similar so it was an easy call. Hopefully the dealership will back off the "screen is cracked" stance.

@BBhorn I understand how you feel but you need to have patience. Go to the dealership and have them check the radio and confirm the delamination and request that they write it up and provide a quote (I'm assuming they say it's not covered).

That's one of the first steps you need to do. RamCares and Uconnect both will request it.

I am waiting for the remnants of hurricane Ida to get pass our area and I will go back by the dealer for an update. At least all we got from Ida was a lot of rain, some flooding and wind but no severe damage. Our area should be in the clear later today. We do not need a repeat of Sally as that one came directly over us last year. We had major damage that we are still recovering from, but since we are not New Orleans, we hardly got a mention on national news.

This was a view of our situation Sunday so we are glad we only got the outer bands.

Sounds like they've caught up with the refurb demand with the replacement time frames folks are posting...

I stopped by the dealer today and they still are clueless. They took my number and said they would call just like the last 2 times. I wish I had a close alternative to this dealer as they don’t really seem to care. I may need to rethink my choices other than RAM on the next truck we buy. Our local Ford dealer treated us real good on warranty work on our Mustang GT that we traded for our RAM.

It sounds like you need to locate another dealership. I drive a further distance to the dealership I'm using currently. There is another dealership but I swore I'd never use them again.

Ask around in your area and find out if there's a better dealerships within 40 miles.

Shout out to @SitKneelBend for the thread posts, pointers, & general help.

Had some issues with the screen replacement and wanted to share...

I picked up a used screen screen off of ebay for the repair and I didn't notice, but the video display ribbon cable was installed backwards when I got it. Worked well once installed correctly.
I will add that taking theses things apart and reassembling then correctly without all the spacers between the ckt boards going everywhere is a chore. After taking it apart 3-4 times to retest, it's not so bad.
---- Pictures ----

1) Original screen with LoCa bubbles underneath (cracked while practicing at removing the factory screen protector).

2) differences in video display ribbon cable orientation.

Went in today to have my radio replaced, the replacement radio was defective. Screen flashing like carzy and wouldn't take the vehicles config (says the tech). They are ordering another one.

Posted in a similar thread, wanted to update here as well. I was notified today by Uconnect that the radio and labor will be covered. Now just waiting on dealer ordering part and availability.

I received a call from uConnect today and they advised they were covering the replacement cost of a new unit 100%. They advised they would let me know when the unit arrives at the dealer so we could make arrangements to take our truck in to have it replaced. I am keeping my fingers crossed the dealer follows through. A big thank you to @RamCares because without their assistance I think my case would have fallen by the wayside.

Awesome news. I felt the same as you but the dealership is getting paid so they will follow through.
