Not quite getting that, what’s making this project special? That’s what any car forum for, share info and discussions. Helping each other.
I am sure some people rather diy if they can, instead of paying dealer, shop or You for that matter.
That's like your boss hiring someone to work for far cheaper then replacing you. Oh and also making you train your replacement before you go.

More or less its a mutual respect thing. I mean I could duplicate alot of things people build and sell on the forum but as a mutual respect they don't touch my product and I don't touch theirs. It's just the right thing to do. Anyone who has built and developed a product knows this.

You are correct, you just don't get it!
Brandon developed a product and sells it to whoever needs it. If you want to make one do it, but don't badmouth Brandon for not helping you copy his product. No businessman would help someone steal their product. Your attitude will get you nothing.

Where did I ever badmouths Brandon here? I never ask for help from him. What are you talking about.
All I said, I want to see if we can refresh this thread.
Brandon can keep making and selling his product to people who don’t want to spend their time or just don’t want to do it them self, totally normal.
I don’t really need your permission to share schematic I came up with, here or anywhere.
But looks like no interest to this subject here anyway, so don’t worry.
Your comment about business, nobody trying to steal anything- it’s call competition. But, again, wasn't even planning to compete.

Hey @Brandon-w! First and foremost, this is awesome and your research is something to behold.

I saw somewhere that you were going to post an ebay link to purchase. Did you ever end up doing that?

Thank you very much [emoji846] it's come a long way since I started making harnesses that's for sure. I had the harness on ebay but they were killing me in fees so I do the transaction privately as I want to keep The price as low as possible for everyone to enjoy this product. If you are interested please feel free to message me.

Sounds good I usually have some pre built and if I don't give me a day or two and I'll have one ready to go. [emoji106]

Evening Brandon;
just wanted to reach out and say thanks for the great work you did/do.
I've used that little push button switch several times this winter.

We got hammered early before Christmas with 38+ inches, the rest of the winter has been more normal.
Several 3-6 and 6-8 inch storms this week a bunch of nuisance storms 1-2 inches that if you don't plow and sand will pack down to ice.
Snowing as I type this looks to be a 3 incher.

Do you still make these harnesses? I'm in desperate need of one. Or does anyone have one they want to sell?

If anyone has any doubt about this mod, lemme tell ya, this mod is the real deal.

Went to launch my boat yesterday on a slimey ramp (so slimey I wound up flat on my back). Decided to use 4 wheel drive and turned on the Brandon harness I installed last week. Backed down till boat floated off trailer. Put in park and set ebrake. No problems. Stepped out and down I went. Couldn't even walk on that ramp. Launch boat. Upon return, same situation , so in 4x4 it went w/ the lock harness engaged. Loaded boat on and truck pulled boat up that ramp like it was dry as a bone..

In the dirt parking lot the 4x4 bucked the steering just like my old 79 power wagon with the full gear drive W350 xfercase and manual warn hubs on the big Dana 60 front axle. Very impressed.

She does make a klunk when disengaging when adapter it turned off when backing up a tad.

Kudos to Brandon on his hard work developing the adapter cable
