I like the stock rims more than my old Fuel rims

I switched from Fuel Beast rims with 35/12.5/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers to stock rims with 35/12.5/17 Toyo MT tires (mild siping from Les Schwab for better snow handling).
The truck is about an inch shorter/easier for my wife to get in and out......

The truck handles much better to me now, and I like the looks more.
Looks aren't why I made the change though......I wanted something that was better for off road/scratches.

Call me crazy, but I like the truck even more now!

there is no way you are an inch shorter going from 35/12.5-17 nittos to 35/12.5-17 toyos. that would mean the 35's toyos were 2" taller to beging with, be like going from a 37's tire to a 35" tire to lower it actually 1". Toyo MT's are awesome tires.

Well....The Nittos were 17.25" from the ground to the center of the rim.
The MT's are 16 3/8" from the ground to the center of the rim.
Both sets are inflated to 60 pounds.

I've been reading that some tires measure differently, depending on the make and model, even though they are sold as being the same size.

That fender well looks empty!
I have the Carli Back Country leveling kit.
Maybe next time, I go for AEV rims and 37's!

Why? Toyo's load inflation table calls for 30 F / 25 R for your truck, and the max cold inflation is 35 psi for the C rated, 50 psi for the D rated.

These are Load Range E

When I got the Nittos, the store inflated them to 80psi! Almost lost a kidney driving home......

Always been a fan of the stock wheels, imo Ram does a good job of offering a few nice options.

And for my ‘21 Trademan, got lucky to find some 75th Anniversary takeoffs! Just need bigger tires now……..

Even still, 60 PSI is only needed if your carrying between 6130 and the 6390 lbs max per axle. The stock Power Wagon front axle weight is 4090 lbs, rear is 2971 lbs. Max cold inflation for the E rated is 65psi.

What PSI are you running your MT's at?

Guess I should break out the street chalk and see what I should run these at. Les Schwab inflated them to 60. I never checked the tire specs......
I think tire places inflate them as much as possible to make the new tires look more impressive!

44 F 34R and I could go lower but I get perfect wear. No reason to have E rated tires pumped up for max capacity when you are not even close to max capacity. Realistically 25 psi in the back and 30psi in front would be fine. Weigh your truck at a Cat scale and see what our axle weights actually are.

No need for chalk. Just weigh the truck (or estimate based off the stock weights from the mfg) and use the load inflation table.
