It actually fits really well, I was surprised. I had an ‘09 a few years back & got a cheap aftermarket grill & it definitely didn’t fit as well, I think the aftermarket has gotten better in that department. Here’s a link to one on Amazon;

The only real downfall I see vs. the Mopar ones is that there’s a bunch of connectors (idk what to call them) connecting the horizontal slats, that you don’t get with the OEM grills. But for a fraction of the cost I thought it was well worth it to do a couple hours of extra taping (wish I would have taken a pic of all the taping rather than just the outermost inside) to get it to look as close to OEM as possible. I’ve seen people just paint over those & it looks good too but I wanted to replicate the OEM look as best I could. It’s hard to tell where it’s black vs. grey with the lighting in my pics.

Thanks! I think you have the perfect amount of chrome. I actually really wanted a similar year to yours to do exactly what you did but the yr I ended up getting, 2015, doesn’t have the door or tailgate trim so it was just easier to delete everything. I was debating the factory sport LEDs too but then I came across some 5th gen replicas they have on eBay right now. They’re full LED so no bulb holes, so I assume there won’t be any condensation issues like the typical eBay ones.

Replaced the horns on my ram on Tuesday. I blew the diaphragm on one of them last week and decided to replace them both with something louder. I installed a set of dual tone air horns. They have a nice tone and are definitely louder than the factory setup.

Not the greatest picture, but I finally got my running light function wired on my tow mirrors. Now to just decide what I want for some "here comes the sun" lights. I travel a lot after dark and I'm growing more and more tired of people driving with their brights on, then when you give them a quick flash they still don't dim them. So I have to figure out what I want and get something ordered.

Nice job.
I've got Boost Auto mirrors which came with the wiring already installed in the mirror. I just had to run the power to them from the fuse box. I don't remember which number fuse but it was the "clearance lights" fuse.That will be coming up soon on my list too

I haven't got the tailgate recall notice in the mail yet. I need to call the dealer to run my VIN and see if it's still open for me. Mine hasn't opened on its own yet. But it almost never latches on the first try. I've spray various de-greasers and lubricants in both latches to try to fix it with no luck.

Should be fuse 79.
Trivia: If you have the factory inverter on a pre '17 truck, the same circuit provides a signal to the inverter plug when you have your running lights on so it can dim the internal lights on the plug. On a '17 plus the inverter is hooked to the dimmer circuit for the dash and doens't need the signal from #79.

I let them do the tailgate one a while back, it's just adding a plastic stopper to the mechanism to keep a rod from slipping to far in one direction.
I think the powertrain control one is the one to deal with the "runaway cruise control if the CC module and ECM loose connection with each other" issue. It changes them to kill the CC if they loose connection (due to wire damage, etc).
