My Rodents of Unusual Size are small and chewed stuff in my old van every year. But they didn't remove anything just destroyed it lol. I like the reference.

Love the Belvedere!! Had a faded purple/plum colored one growing up with a push button transmission on the left dash. Now I'm gonna have to check my Warlock that I took delivery on in Jan. Let you know.

We purchased our 2021 Classic here in Australia....I questioned the Salesman when I noticed the bare intake manifold and demanded the "Missing" Clamshell be located and replaced. I was later informed (and confirmed through other Dealerships in Oz) that the "Clamshell" was deleted as it was causing too much heat to remain in the engine bay and no 2021 models came fitted with the clamshell anymore. Now maybe it's just Oz with our blistering temps, but we live in Tasmania where it's never hot!
So perhaps...it's just a cost saving measure or to prevent overheating, just a thought!

On my last two Rams, the cover was insulated, which I guess helped keep engine noise down...just pulled the one from my 2018 and it's just a plastic shell. Not really functional...just there to look pretty.

So, to be clear, the cover is completely unnecessary? Noob question I know, but I have to ask.

Correct. Completely unnecessary. They're great for making the engine bay look "cleaner" and only directing your eyes to where the oil goes. It's just aesthetics, really.

I've got to conclude I was wrong about seeing a cover on my 5.7. Everything points to them not being included on the 2020 Classics. I swung by the dealership and asked about it, they looked up the information that they stopped installing them in 2019. The locating points and captive nuts are put there in case anybody wants to buy a cover; fun fact, they were willing to sell me one.

How did I "see" a cover that wasn't ever there? Don't know, must have been inhaling or absorbing some residual elements stuck in the fabric of the Plymouth. Maybe an open hood in the showroom when I was shopping (do they still put them on Challengers/Chargers or Jeeps?) showed me a cover, I can say I haven't been to a car show or cruise all summer. A mystery to me, might as well have shared it on the www!

Take some close up pictures of the mounting points for that cover and post them here please. If there was a cover on it, those mounting points will show some evidence of that, slight rubber distortion or indentations, etc.

That's one way you could put this to bed for good.

The new Ram Classics have no cover from the factory. All of the engine pictures I've seen on the on-line sales sites have no cover.
Mine has an engine cover.

I think that i mentioned that July 1 0000 to June 30 0000
Are the TARGET dates for a Production Year

If i didn't mention it in this post, i should have

These last few years, they missed that target
One year, it was November before they started production

This Year i believe that Warren Michigan started the 4th Gen Ram 1500 for 2022 just last month

The 2022 Ram Heavy Duty production either started on November 1 2021, or it will start November 11 2021, but its unusual that they would start in the middle of any week
Wrong. I have a 2022 HD that was built on 9/1/21 that I bought on 9/22/21 off of a Dealer lot.

I was told a 2020 Warlock is considered 4th Gen Classic, but I don't follow it that precisely. Have been posting about it here, but if I'm wrong will ask for it all to be moved over.

Not sure which generation my Belvedere is, will have to search out forums where people might know.
You mean that satellite?

The two scoop is worth more than the larger single. The convertible of that year restored would be about 137,000 versus a hardtop at 16,000. 67 had two small scoops one on both sides of hood for the GTX series but rare. For The single scoop, more were made.. You could find a 440 or a 426 in the GTX. But mostly a 440/four-speed/Dana 60 in the GTX-2. You'll find a 727 auto behind the 426 version and the 440 version as well. And very very rare a 4 speed, in the convertable. Factory five-spoke Magnum 500 wheels. 1967 GTX is the first gen for the GTX series. 65-67 for that C class frame covers the first gen for Belvidere with that C class frame. A tachometer was mounted on the steering column, chrome pop up fuel filler cap, blacked out grill, special rear fascia. In 68 the mid pillar was gone. In 69 you'll 701 GTX convertibles in 1969. Of those, eleven were equipped with the 426 Hemi; four were 4-speeds and seven had TorqueFlite automatics.
Roadrunner GTX killed the belvidere line of GTX.

Mom had a 72 Wagon Fury with the 318. She also had a 75 Fury III Wagon with the 360. Wat a beast. My mothers' 75 was Maroon. pp.JPG

Police wheels and dog dish hubcaps! WOW!
Same almost exact car my Mom had. I slid that puppy years ago almost off a bridge, LOL. They did not hold the road as good as PPL think. (to include my dumb a**** self).

This is a prime example of WHY YOU NEVER LEAVE YOUR TRUCK UNLOCKED AND KEYS IN IT as there is no really safe areas anymore !

Nope, I mean that Belvedere.

How did you go about making up those numbers?
