I e been searching for an hour. Is there a way to add OEM LED tails to a truck that came without them without using resistors?

I did the conversion before Alfa, however I’m having some issues with them now, and I’m wondering if I can just scrap the resistor since tech has changed since.

TIA

Does anybody have alfaobd body sheet from a 2014 Laramie? So I can compare it with mine to make sure the LED tail lights are set right. I might have turned the wrong thing off when messing with the DRL settings. I didn't forget to pull a back up sheet from my 2014 I just did it wrong and now the only sheet I have is for my 2013 and it was an SLT so it's of no use.

I have one from my '14 Express that has Projectors and LED Tails from the factory. All it's LED settings should be the same.

I’m sick of inadvertently pressing the panic button on my FOBIK. I watched BigDaddy’s Youtube vid on turning on the VTA. Can one of the other settings for that option be used to disable the panic button? What’s LIN?

I've never tried it, but setting the Panic Enabled option to "No" might do it. You can also physically disable the button by removing the contact pad on the button inside the remote (That's assuming you have a tip-start key. If you have the proximity key, the internal structure is different.)

The LIN (Local Interconnect Network) Bus is a supplement to the CAN (Control Area Network) Bus system that interconnects everything on a modern vehicle. It's slower and less robust, but cheaper to produce and is used for low priority stuff.

Code:
LIN and Misc:

If that don't work, open the fob up and try to put a piece (dot) of paper under the panic button skin.

Okay guys I was trying out my bypass cable today and was trying to change the capacity to 52 gals fuel which is 197.000 liters but it didn't take I was thinking that the shop did that already so I'm going to leave that along for now.

The other question that I have and I will search here is how do I change my rear running lights and my back up lights to LED's?

Okay guys I need a little help so I have a 52 gals Titan fuel tank so I went out and set it in my ALFAOBD setting to read 197.000 liters last night and I just fill up my tank to the full mark so now when I got in my truck this morning my fuel gauge was reading just a little less than 3/4 tank full.

So I said maybe it need to catch up or something is off so I went back to the gas station to try to fill it back up well I was only able to get about 10 gals in before the nozzle click off and my fuel gauge didn't more, so what can I do so my fuel gauge can read full? Thank you guys for your help.

Okay to add what I have said it look like that something went wrong after setting my license plate to LED's which I install the bulb and I set the setting in alfaobd to enable the dropout for the fog now things is screw up. What I did is went back to take out the dropout fog but I kept the license plate light for LED'S, my engine light came on so I use the alfaobd to try to clear out any code and it look like that they were clear out.

Now the engine like was on and my speed odometer look to be looking strange with some broken line, so the last step I did was I took out the LED's bulbs for my license plate and disconnect the battery and I hope that every thing will be back to normal. This is a learning curve for sure but I said that I was going to resolve this with the help of you guys of course.

I fuel gauge is reading okay for now, I was having a little problem with that so after doing some reading I figure that it's going to be the way it is and I can live with that I just have to know how much fuel I have when it get to any level. So I when and put the value back the way it was in the beginning and that is back to were it was I just need to find out why my engine light is on and take care of it. Any ideal?

Bigdaddy, I wish I could help, but it would be like the blind leading the blind here. Hopefully someone will come along that can chcwk out your logs and help you figure out what’s going on. I’m a little worried that you’re making changes in AlphaOBD without knowing that the ECU is the Engine Control Unit.

Yeah, and everything that I went and change I did change it back hoping that it will work but last thing I did was clear out some faults that was in there so now I'm letting it sit for now and yeah I did know what the ECU meant but I just totally forgot. Thank you for your comment and willing to help.
