Hello,

My airbag light has been on for a week or so. I bough a code reader that can read SRS codes and got the following:

B0095-13 and B0095-49

Both of those codes are affiliated with a defective right frontal acceleration sensor.

Could anyone tell me the part number of this sensor and where I can find it in my truck?

Thank you!

It’s a 2019, Bighorn, Crew Cab with 5.7 Hemi.

68187905AA should be the part #. They are located by the lower radiator shroud. You’ll have to get at them from under the truck.

Thank you for your help, but may I ask where that PN came from? I tried searching that number and it’s telling me it’s discontinued and doesn’t fit a 2019. From what I could find, it looks like the correct PN is: 68284052AA. Could you confirm?

Also, would that location be correct still? Is it accessible from the bottom?

Thanks again!

68284052AA could be a superseded part from 68187905AA. I can’t confirm that though as I’m not at the shop right Now. You’re best bet is to just phone a dealer, give them your vin and ask for the part #.

You 'might' get under there and wiggle the wires (with the tk off) and see if the light goes offf. Probably won't, but worth a shot.

Looking for some additional help here. I changed the front right accelerometer sensor and the faults listed above are still active. So then I changed the left front sensor hoping I had my right and left mixed up and the codes are still active.

Any ideas where to go from here?

If your truck is still under warranty, you might want to have a dealer you trust look at it

Does your reader have code reset option?

I’m pretty sure it’s out of warranty. Is there a way to look up what my warranty is? I know I would’ve purchased an extended warranty, but can’t remember what I would’ve bought. And judging by all the phone calls I get, my vehicles extended warranty has expired.

My reader does reset the codes. I tried that, but it’s listing them as active, so they won’t erase.

Thanks for your time and assistance!

If changing the sensors didn’t work then it’s either a wiring problem of the air bag module itself.

Is there any way to confirm if it’s a wiring problem? I’m pretty handy with a meter. Just wondering if I could take a voltage measurement at the connector or something similar to confirm the wiring harness is good.

Thanks again!

While I’m thinking about it, do you know where the air bag control module is located?

The module is under the centre console/front middle seat.

To check the wiring you’ll basically need to check the circuits are good from the module to the sensor. Circuits should have less than 0.5ohms resistance. You’ll also have to disconnect both the module and sensor and check that the circuits aren’t shorted to ground, voltage, or each other.

That’s great information! Thank you! I’m going to see if I can locate this module and then I’ll verify the continuity of these wires.

Thanks again!

Thank you for the link Rado, and thank you for your service. USAF vet myself, but work for a subcontractor to the navy now.

Unfortunately, as I assumed, it appears to be out of warranty.
