I'm wanting to run steel wheels with dog dish caps on my 90 W-150. Dodge it appears didn't offer such a wheel. Has anyone used another manufactures 5x5.5 wheel 15x8,15x8.5, 0r 15x9 ?
I do have five of the police style wheels used on the Chrysler produced police package. But I would have to use a spacer/adapter to fit them on my W-150. Which I really don't like, I have been running spacer's on my 97 Ford Ranger. Since purchasing the truck and have had no issues(100000miles)
Also shown the police wheels painted/powder coated white with dog dish caps. For your viewing pleasure.

So back to my question what other options do I have if any. Besides buying new aftermarket wheels. Or keeps looking and trying different looks till I find what trips my trigger so to say.
Thank you .KA

Measure your offset, go to Junk yard, paw through the wheels till you find what you want. There may also be a good slection of 16". I like you am not fond of spacers.

Dean2 thanks for the good imput, infact today I went by a friends place and checked out a 1972 Imperial. He is going to part the Imperial out when he has the chance.
My main reason for wanting to stay with 15" wheels. I have two sets of brand new tires, a set of Goodyear Wranglers with 0 miles and a set of Goodyear 255/70R15 street tread tires. I'm thinking I'll install the 255's on my 1987 Ramcharger 4x2, and the Wranglers on the W-150. There 235/75R15 the factory installed size. I'm wanting to keep the truck as close to stock as I can. My plan is a stock restoration.

So still looking out for 15" steel wheels. Maybe I'll score something this coming weekend in Daytona at the Turkey Run and Swap Meet.

IMHO, stock 15x7's should do you fine then.

You can also get new plain steel 'hotrod' wheels that fit the dog dish caps.
