New owner in the UK

Hey everyone.

I’m new to the Dodge Ram scene. Just bought a 2003 2 door. 4.7 V8.

Honestly, no idea of the overall spec .

Saw it on ebay, went down. Test drove it. Loved it. Bought it.

I’ve always wanted a V8 pickup. This was the right truck at the right price.

Few issues to resolve with it but it is an 18 year old truck. Pretty good all round condition. Just had its MOT.

Nice truck and welcome! Bet that thing turns some heard over there. I would imagine you don't see many of the full-size picks up running around the streets?

Not an actual geordie, its just an abbreviation of my surname although i am only 30miles off Newcastle.

Luckily i don’t do many miles. Bought it sunday, chucked £99 worth in. Drove home, to work, back home. Another £75. It’s that damn loud pedal, just begs to be pressed. Overall the consumption surprised me. Got 20mpg (imperial not US) on the drive home after buying it.

It may turn heads when people get to see. I haven’t even had a good look round it other than initial inspection when i bought it. Every time i’m near it, it’s pitch black.

Engine service planned for the weekend. Needs a damn good wash too.

Yeah. That’s something I keep having to remember when I talk about MPG.
3.79 l per gall us
4.55 l per gall imperial.
Enjoy it while they still let us buy petrol lol
