What you’ve got is an issue. A dealer wants to book and bill a sale. That’s counted in their monthly aggregate sales. If, and this is because of short inventory, there’s a very similar truck in the dealer network with your options, it’s shipped. The dealers trade products when they need to in order to complete a sale. Now you have a signed contract with the exact options you signed for. If they swap them out for you, that’s great. If not, it’s your wallet.

Yep, from that sheet you have a 3.21.

Do you have anything which shows that you selected 3.92? In writing?

I'm looking at it from the standpoint:

1. If you ordered it, then it needs to be as you wanted.

2. Of course you can re-gear, but now your crossing the line of stepping out of your Warranty on a new truck.

Your spending a lot of money not to get something you wanted, and to make it the way you want if you do it, voids your warranty.

I'd make them correct it. I guarantee, you'll be thinking about this 4 years from now wishing you had. :waytogo:

There is no way in this universe that the truck you ordered went through the paperwork process which in itself takes one month

Then scheduling, assembly, body vendor takes another 3 weeks minimum

Shipping:
Loaded on a freight car in Sterling Heights, Michigan
first stop is a a railroad depot near Chicago
then it heads south to Texas

Good Luck

Look at the Build Sheet, is your name at the bottom of the sheet
is there a SOLD Order 99

If not, your dealership is trying to slip one of their own Ram on you

Yours will end up on your dealers sales lot in about 2 months

I had the 3.21 on my last ram and had 34.8" tires and it wasn't a problem. It's obviously not ideal though, and if you ordered 3.92 and didn't get it, I'd be raising hell.

Some of the issues presented with larger tires can be mitigated with a tune or individual a la carte changes in your BCM.

My 2020 Rebel came stock with 3.92 gearing and I'm running almost identical sized tires as my last truck, 285/75/18 (34.8"), which would be ideal with 4.56 gearing, but I'm not bothering with it. I'm making the tire size changes in the BCM and living with it.

That truck was not specifically built to fulfill your order. Nobody can do that in less than 30 days. If you like the delivered truck, fine. But if you want what you ordered, simply tell the dealer that you will wait for the truck you ordered.
