I'd go back to a F150 with a 3.5 ecoboost. My 2017 ecoboost had better acceleration and pulled my boat better than my 6.4L Hemi with 3:73's and I could set the cruise on 75 and get 21 mph on flat highway.

I'm waiting to see what all 3 big truck makers bring to the EV arena. I really like the idea of EV, have for a long time (pre-Tesla years), but still not sure if a truck is the best place for this. Time will tell... It is getting interesting.

I fairly seriously shopped 2nd-gen Chevy C20s before settling on a '15 2500 4x4, which was my first RAM (obviously went back to the well with my current truck). Still think the 2nd-gen C/K series trucks are sharp-lookers.

Chevy High Country 6.2L. Chev's have served me well in the past. Never another Ford!

As I constantly see bad reviews for GM products, I would have gone Ford F-150 hybrid. The new Toyota hybrid was a close 3rd, but OMG their new grill is just horrid.

I would probably go with newer F150 with payload package. Only 1/2 ton available to carry my truck camper without moving up to a 3/4 ton.

I have every dodge and ram truck I ever bought on my property. Forget chevy and Ford, ant Toyota is to weak to handle the load I throw at a truck.

No EV for this BOIRD, not in a truck, wat a silly thing. I guess once I am long gone and the technology has like Hydrogen Fuel Cell/Nuc cars maybe then, but alas, I just be a Fried BOIRD in the Cemetery, lmao.

If they weren't so pricey my next choice for what's available currently would be the grand wagoneer. Either way, something that maintains the full size that the ram was, so most likely another full size pick up, probably GM.

In a true emergency scenario where I needed something immediately, old reliable it is:

I drool every time you post a pic of that car! I had a '67 Special for a few years but eventually let it go.
