So I’ve seen some places say that adding a lift kit to your truck will void your warranty. Or you can purchase/have dealership install the Mopar lift and it doesn’t void anything(definitely not doing that cause it’s OUTRAGEOUS.) I mean I just bought the truck last year, I still have a long time till 100k lol, I’m not trying to ruin that.
I’ve also seen that it can alter the warranty and only void things that were broken or worn because of the lift but anything else that isn’t in relation to the lift doesn’t change. Can someone help me out lol cause I was gonna purchase a lift soon

Well... two things on that.

First, it's been my experience that in general automotive warranties aren't worth the paper they're printed on. None of them. Not at any time. I'm not interested in debating this, I have my first hand experiences which aren't negotiable.

Second - here's possibly a more useful answer than that. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=magnuson+moss+warranty+act+

It can void the warranty on any item that was modified. The problem is it could end up being a hard case to argue, and you may end up having to prove it. For example, if the tranny goes out down the road after you do the lift, can they argue that the more extreme driveshaft angles were the cause of it? So you are taking a risk.

I have a long time left on my warranty too, so I'm not messing with lifts, wheels, etc and give them an excuse to deny a claim. My experience with OEM warranty stuff is excellent over the last 4 decades, so I want to keep that as intact as I can. The Magnuson-Moss act is more about letting you do your own oil changes and routine maint w/o voiding the warranty.

On my Chrysler MaxCare service plan, it states that you can have up to a 2 inch lift without repercussions.
