Hello all,

I am new to this Forum and this is my first truck purchase. I have a 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock and would like to add fog lights to the truck.

I called the dealer and they said MOPAR doesn't have any kits for my DS truck so they are not able to install them.

Does anyone know if this is possible and if so what parts I would need to get?

Thanks!

Ron

Yes, it's possible. Contact @M2mods in the vendor section of the forum. Besides installing the fog lights you will need a new switch, factory fog light harness plus Jumper Harness from M2mods. You will also need to enable the codes with the Alfa Tool. There is a full writeup on it in the 4th gen DIY section. Since your truck is a Classic it's considered a 4th gen.

Thanks a lot for the help guys. This has definitely been a project. I think all I need now is the jumper harness.

I would think that since the truck CAN be ordered from the dealer with factory fog lights, the dealer saying "we can't do that", sounds like BS. Although, going through them would probably be outrageous on the price anyway.

BTW, that front view looks a lot like mine. Except for the Hydro Blue mine is wearing. Same projector headlights, blacked out bumper/grill, good looking truck.

I am in the process (years in the making probably) of getting my truck to be more, well, my truck. Going to be looking in the 4th gen section tho, as the "Classic"s are considered 4th Gen, not 5th.

How do you actually install the lights themselves? Did you remove the lower bumper or did you work your way through the wheel well?

I removed the grill and saw what appeared to be mounting brackets behind the bumper but I had no way of getting in there. It seems to me installing the lights will be more daunting than wiring them.

Another new Warlock owner with no Fog Lights...are the parts you listed the ones we order from our Parts Dept at the local Ram dealership?..but the harness has to come from m2mods4ram...is that correct?

Your list helped me a lot. Expect the harness was wrong but I made it work

Spoke to Seerice Mgr..good guy..said no problem seeing as how I am wiring them to a dash toggle switch. He could arrange to remove trim bezels, put in appropriate ones for round Fog lights and run wire to the toggle switch..about 1 hr work...seems reasonable...will keep you updated.

The install with the factory switch instead of an auxiliary switch, if you go that route, requires the harness from M²Mods. It was pretty easy, I did same thing, and made it easier to use them as button is now part of the light switch. For me, looking more stick was also a big reason to not use the auxiliary. Plus. With AlphaOBD you can change settings to have figs on with high beams, which was huge for me as I drive on dirt road a lot.

Has anyone removed the bezel that covers the fog light "to be" area? Would it be correct to say you remove the tires, and access the bezel from behind? Perhaps remove a portion of the wheel well liner? have not found any video on this for the Warlock/DS version of the Ram 1500..going blind...will video myself if none already out there...thanks

If anyone can help I tried wiring these to lights to a relay harness and got no power to etiher light on two different relay harnesses. Power straight to each and came right on. I'm assuming maybe something with a canbus or decoder possibly built into these fog lights. At this point I am planning to go the OEM switch route. What other wiring would I need besides the front fascia wiring oem harness? Or just that and the switch or do I need something from M2 mods.
