So I called RAM customer service, and after a few minutes (and providing the VON) they confirmed the truck will (should?) be at the dealership between 11/29 (today) and December 3rd (Friday). So, we will see.
Just a quick update: Truck arrived at the dealership yesterday, and I got a sneak peek at it this morning. It needs tints and LineX and a tonneau cover and it should be ready for pickup on the weekend. Even the sales manager was surprised it came so quickly (ordered October 8, delivered Nov 30 - Laramie 1500, Night Edition, 3.92, power running boards, tow package)

Excited to say I picked my truck up this afternoon. My third 1500 (traded in my 2019 Rebel), this one is a Laramie (Night Edition, e-torque, 3.92 axle, power running boards, hard tonneau cover). Ordered Oct 8 / Delivered Dec 3 (I am in SW Ontario, Canada).

Dealer is truly at a loss to explain why this came so quick, as orders placed before mine have not arrived (and a few orders placed after mine for trucks of varying trim levels have arrived at the dealership in the last few days). The sales manager mentioned that he really thought I wouldn’t see this until spring 2022. He also said that today he tried to do a customer order with power running boards and they weren’t avaible. I guess I should buy a lottery ticket.

So my dealership called and said my truck is scheduled to start the build on Dec 13. I’m seeing on different posts in here that the factory is shutting down on the 17. Do y’all think it’s possible for them to build and start the shipping process before they shut down the factory, or should I not even get my hopes up?

My brother ordered his Laramie level2 the last week of September. It came in yesterday, stickered at $61,800 and he paid $52,900. In this market I think that is a pretty good deal. 2022 model

I was sure I read somewhere that they are working until the 24th before shutdown. That might have changed, but at one point, that was the case.

With production being behind, due to the time that they shut down production because of Covid, ( they had to put plastic between the different stations & make other adjustments )
They may be wanting to stay open until the 24th to make up for lost time

Happy to hear of those getting your Ram 1500' s I recently found that the 1500 Laramie I ordered back in July is still in the scheduling phase after the dealer told me it was built and awaiting shipment 3 moths ago.

Not sure what value it has to know the why this has progressed further but have ruled out the chip for Technology package or V-6 spec as the reason as I am seeing these in dealer inventories. I have not seen any 2022 with cargo boxes or multi function tailgates which I ordered. Anyone else have any insight ?

Congrats to those who have had theirs delivered.

I did see a 2022 anniversary edition 1500 on the dealer lot with cargo boxes and the multi-function tailgate. FWIW.

Hi. I’ve been lurking and watching this thread. It’s been great info for someone like me that has ordered their 1st Ram and anxiously excited about when it might arrive so I decide I should go ahead and register. I ordered a 2022 1500 Limited with level 1 equipment group, night edition, pano sun roof and anti spin differential on Oct 30th. Per links in this thread I’ve been checking with fca cs every couple weeks. I checked again on Dec 7th (my birthday) and was excited to be told that all parts had been received and “my truck should be scheduled to be built very soon”. Last night I got a call from the delearship that my truck is scheduled to be built by 12/16. I know it’s a few weeks after that before it will actually arrive. I’ve been very nervous about that level 1 equipment groups with the chip shortage but it seems to me it’s pretty much on schedule for 10-12 weeks from order to delivery (minus the 2 week Xmas shut down). Thank you to all the posters here providing information to help me keep my sanity through this process.

Lucky it went that quickly. I ordered the same thing, only opting for locking diff and tow package as well. Ordered on August 2nd. Still in the part gathering phase.

Sorry to hear that. I wonder what the difference in time could be? They didn’t start building the 2022’s until 9/17 so those 1st 47 days are understandable. But you would think they would have the materials for yours ready before mine.

Spoke with the dealership today. They are just as confused as to what builds are prioritized. They had identical TRXs ordered on the same day, August 15th, one has already been delivered and one is still in the scheduling phase. I was told my truck will supposedly be built the week of January 3rd and the dealership expects to receive it beginning to mid February. If that’s the case, that would be about 6-7 months since the order date.

I was told they are waiting on the chip for the trailer break controller and a main cpu chip.

Well I finally have movement on my order from July 19 for 2022 1500 Laramie.
Really no method to the madness as may newer orders with same specs completed ahead of mine. I checked with Ram Cares on Friday and as usual they told me it was still in the scheduling phase.
Saturday my local dealer tells me truck is built and ready for shipping. Today, Monday Ram Cares confirmed and I was also able to get the build and window sticker.
There was like no in between as it went from D Status to KZP in a day.

Anyhow if anyone needs the Ram cares chat which will provide you current status by providing the VIN:

Also I just found a user in another forum who enables you to enter your info on a live spreadsheet and shows tracking info on yours and everyone else that has submitted and is very cool as you see other VINs what model they are for a couple specs and which ones are built.
Forum is: https://**************/
Here is a link to the tracking sheet that you need to I believe first register in the forum to access

I wish I would have found this weeks ago.

That’s awesome! I can’t wait to get mine. Ordered my Rebel GT in July and still don’t have it. Hopefully within the next few weeks I’ll get it.
