So, I bought these bulbs to install into a set of aftermarket (perde/tyc) chrome housings while completed a retrofit on another set of lights. I had a set of h11 hid bulbs driven by 45 hylux ballasts in the aftermarket housings but wasn't happy with the pattern. The aftermarket housings have the bulbs clocked different than oem housings so it was near impossible to get the hid bulb clocked the way I wanted it. So, I ordered a set of these auxito bulbs based off some reviews on YouTube. They do not disappoint. First off. They are small. They are tiny in comparison to many leds and dare I say more compact than the much hyped fahrens. They easily fit behind the dust cover of the housings (same size as oem housings). Being that they are a clockable bulb, I was able to fine tune the base position to get them perfectly vertical. Worth noting, I am running fahrens in the high beams and have no complaints about them. So, as for output, they are on par with the 45w hids, maybe a hair dimmer. The biggest improvement was beam pattern, however, since these are afterm housings, the beam pattern is pretty bad. I actually wouldn't recommend these housings as replacements unless you wanted a basic oem knock-off light for a retrofit. Now all that said, beam pattern is better than with the hid bulbs, and I'd say it's slightly more refined than even the halogen bulbs, but much brighter than halogen. As for heat, I was handling these while they were on trying to find the sweet spot for beam pattern for several minutes. These got warm, but not hot. I've handled leds that got untouchable within a few seconds of turning on. Over a 30 minute drive into work every night, I don't notice any kind of drop off in performance. I really wish I had a set of actual stock housings to try these in, because I feel these would be an incredible setup and these housings post such a poor pattern that posting an image of the beam pattern simply wouldn't do the bulbs justice. I am thoroughly impressed with these bulbs for their price. I do believe these are a good bit brighter than the fahrens I have in the high beams, the highs just don't have as much pop as they normally would, but that again could be the housings. These are saying they are canbus compatible, I've not had any issues, but I'm also running alfaobd, so none of that stuff really matters. If you're looking for a budget set of bulbs for both highs and lows in quad housings, I'd highly recommend these. Super compact, very efficient, and minimal heat.
Like I said I bought these for temporary use until I finished my retrofits and I'm not at all disappointed. In fact, I'll probably transfer these bulbs over to my dad's truck when I'm done with these housings.

Got the same bulbs on my projectors, love those little LED! Go tired of messing around with Morimoto HID , ballast, relays, igniters, miles of wires going everywhere. Simple, clean , install on the LED DONE!!

I need to get a set of these. I am fairly pleased with mine, but wish they would aim better. If you get a chance can you get a night pic for me? I am very interested in them!

I bought these as well for my truck(projector housing) and same with my wife's truck, and installed the auxito fog lights as well. The headlight and foglight set up is ridiculously bright!! You will not be disappointed, I noticed when I installed mine, the back of the housing has 2 small screws if you line those 2 screws up at 3 and 9 o'clock the led board will be vertical in the housing and your cut off line outside will be perfectly horizontal....and no error codes for the truck.

Cheers!

If I'm not mistaken, the bulb should sit horizontal, at least in my projectors. Do you have reflector style?

The instructions said for the led chips to be facing 3 and 9 o'clock position. I have projectors headlights. Cut off line is great and amazing light output.

Cheers

I've since swapped these into a set of oem housings into both the high and low beam and am not at all disappointed, though I need to get my high beams aimed a bit higher, but that's nothing to do with the bulbs.

It will be interesting to see if you notice any difference from the led board in the horizontal position to the vertical position.

Cheers

Way better pattern in the correct orientation!! It's like bare bulb versus having a lamp shade on. Far better visibility and nice cutoff

Shawdohawk Awsome review and information. I bought a set of Sealight 9005 leds for my 2018 Spot with projector headlights and I can not get them to clock correctly because they don't have adjustable collars. Sorry to ask this question because I believe you guys have answered it in your comments already but I just wanted to confirm that in projector headlights the led bulbs should be oriented at 9 and 3 oclock correct?
