Many times, I have wondered if I should have stayed in, what life would be like, as we all do. But I wouldn’t have the wonderful family, I have now. Things wouldn’t have been better, or worse, just different. No regrets, just wondering thought as I get older. I commend all who choose to serve beyond the initial contract. May god always look over and protect you and all who serve in all branches. God bless the USA!

Active diversions are always welcome in battle. It's a known tactic that can provide the field commander an advantage.

Retired USAF AGE Mech. Retired in 1999, after 20yrs (joined 1979) been missing it ever since. Was a Technical Instructor for five years in FTD at Castle AFB. Been stationed at Williams AFB, AZ(Closed), Bitburg AB, GE(Closed), Castle AFB, CA(Closed), and finally Nellis AFB NV - Still open. Retired E7 Master SGT. Love the forum, and loving Dodge.

Wow, thank you guys for hook me up, I went in doing the Vietnam War this just made my day, it make me feel that my twenty-eight years was not in vain.
To answer your Question MADDOG, I would do it again in a heartbeat! In fact I never should have left 36 years ago.
I miss driving my tank on a daily basis. I miss the comradery, the adventure, the sounds, smells, dirt and everything else that comes with being a tanker.
