Id personally would go 456 or 488 but 410 if your not sure. You could also try sourcing an oem used 3.92 rear axle and get it put on

Also get a Flying Ryan Custom tune ;) that and 4.56 / 4.88s will solve all your issues.

My wifes jeep jk has a 3.6 and I feel like its underpowered for the Kleenex Box so I cant even imagine in a truck... lol... Im re-gearing this springs with 4.88s as well as the FRP custom tune :p.

Obviously re-gearing is going to keep the RPMs up higher, which this Pentastar / 8hp45 combo will like, but it's not going to feel a whole lot different than just keeping her in 7th at highway speeds as it is. You're not going to all of sudden magically have more power.

It really is a great powertrain for many 1500 owners. People knock it when they really don't have any experience with it. When you're adding big tires, lift, doing lots of towing, etc, you're still going to be attempting to polish a ****.

In the city youll probably be about the same rpm because youll be a gear higher. Mostly only running higher rpms in the highway but youll be in OD and youll have enough rpm where it wont shift down very often and running very strong even with 35s.

Sell it and start over with a V-8, or put it back to stock.
